The actual problem is the comparison who is better for FL, ML or 3rd angle, which divides the fans, so ofcourse if & when their choice leaves the show, they will also quit.

So most avoid this comparison by making the 3rd angle negative, coz initially toh all fans started watching the show for either ML or FL or both. So viewership lose karne ka chance low ho jata hai.

Still sabka apna-apna pov hoga na, some will prefer ML with FL others will prefer 3rd angle for FL, so why will they watch if their preference is not same as the choice of makers.

Like in this show, KarMi fans, SidSa track mein kitna bore hue, they skipped most scenes of episodes until they started getting KarMi scenes.

And you also couldn't relate to Karan's confession/realisation so gave up or stopped watching the show, I think.

The point I am trying to make is hum wahi dekhte hai jo hum dekhna chahe as viewers, if that is not served we find other option, some other show. So why will makers take chance of losing their consistent viewers.

Woh kaafi baar woh route leta hain but again marathi audience is different toh shayad iss liye they do that and I guess cause alot of those marathi shows are non toxic.

They don't cater to the OTT Hindi pan level audience toh simplicity in story telling and non complex relationships work there par hindi main jo don chaar shows dekha hain waaha toh saare negative hi hota hain.😬

Yaar that shaadi wala show on SP has been running for more than 10yrs, trps bhi achhi hai, content ke naam par same old same old, clearly reflects itv audience mindsets. Most are just used to watching that show, content ke alawa sab reasons hai, costumes, sets, chemistry, drama

Sony has some great shows but lowest trps, SP also tried few years back with shows like Everest, Dahleej etc. But those shows didn't give them great trps. Ghum ki toxicity ke liye itna suna hai still it has great trps😡

Haa that's why now they have started a star pravah a marathi channel where they remake all those regressive ghum ganja waale shows into marathi.😂

Cause audience in villages of alot even in cities prefer watching content in their own native language.

Haa yeh acha hain ki marathi serials main aaj bhi woh plastic surgery, punar janam, generation leaps , multiple weddings nahi hoti they are still alien to the marathi shows as they are not liked.😂

Marathi shows main agar koi maara hua dekhate hain toh woh maara hua hota hain there is no comming back for them no punar janma.😂😂

Comparison factor is not going to end, it will remain there, still I feel it totally depends on how show makers execute the track, present it before audience. There are people who want to see something different, but they don't have many options.

If they show both ML and FL loving each other in the same way, even after how bad or wrong way they behaved with each other, where the 3rd angle has no chances of winning even being good, then why people want to see the 3rd angle suffering because of that 2 lovers who are madly in love, don't viewers think it's better that 3rd angle goes away because he/she deserves better than the FL/ML lead?

If only it happens - but those talks have been since 2018 when they ended the show. In the meantime they came out with another cop show on Dangal TV with Aditya and Daya sir and then a supposed webseries was supposed to be made as well. And that was confirmed by actors as well.
