It's not overconfidence. Aarohi actually believes that she can manage Abhi. That's how little she knows Abhi and how much of an illusion she has created in her mind about what Abhi is like. As audience, we know all three characters well but Aarohi doesn't know Abhi at all..Abhi doesn't want to know anything about Aarohi and sadly, even Abhi and Akshu don't know much about each other.
