When I say imlie drifted to dark , i doesn’t mean she completely turn a black, already she have some grey point that will more visible.
Even After a point even Yudhishthira prefers war.
Like imlie who struggled a lot when she feels she lost its human tendencies to move to other side.
I think her difficulty speech she said “After all this i didn’t get my right”
That means still imlie feels she doesn’t get her rights .. this was even after griha Pravesh …where even not only Adhi but also family even give her right.
So i feel she still not convinced or ready by fact of sharing Adhi.

After that when imlie asked about future of her relationship with Adhi Aparna advice drift towards the child.
From that point imlie was making her mind to give “Saath “ of Adhi without any further tug of war , but shooting incident blowed all the confidence of imlie & she may thought after all this a little bit acknowledgement have not get from Adhi . This pushed her to edge.
At this point imlies grey side visible more … like she starts feeling she doesn’t get anything.
First she priorities Adhi : thus allowed marriage to Malini , she was never ever happy with that marriage

Imlie always have a tendency to see other side of the people also.
Adhithya’s just declaration of love was never enough for imlie …. She always wanted with crystal clear acknowledgement & proof .
I feel this was seen first in pd3 , even Adhithya declared imlie as his zaroorat aadat marzi , she doesn’t settle still what she want from him.
As situations arised she expected & demands more , but when she doesn’t get what she want she lost the balance.
Imlie has always a tendency to be shown as comfort in pseudo world . That she was doing from earlier.
Is she happy with that really ?? No , but she seems to be happy with that.
She was happy with T’s showing love to her , but whether she was really happy with that .. no … this is shown by many situations like she slightly hiding her pain & smile in front where M’s centre
One such situations was Aparna Radha praised their bahu.
If we can say she is envy , no but she was not happy with that fact. With the thought that she didn’t get right.
Clearly her this very slight malevolent nature visible when she 💯 % knows Adhi will not love M, even she lost Adhi technically.
