You know off late there has been an increase in the visits to my profile by certain fans of a particular actor or the couple (could figure it out from their user name or profile picture) whom I have hardly interacted with and they have been liking my negative posts on Shiva and Raavi and now I am assuming they are the ones who complained about a certain lead character being bashed or trolled.

If they ever come back and like my negative posts on other characters other than their favorites/leads, am going to report them for stalking me and my posts. I have dealt with couple of them during the danda kaand and I know exactly who they are.

Atleast I have the guts to say that I am going to report someone or their posts but these members do it silently and think I don’t know who they are.

Can someone tell me that what is moderator and does she/he keeps continuous check on the edt or only if someone complaints to them?

Henceforth, absolutely no written updates from me especially for those silent members who can’t wait for me to post the written update. I get atleast 200 views on it every single day since I made a separate thread for it this past week, If you are that interested to know what’s happening in the show, watch it yourself.

If the members have enough time to read all the posts here and complain to the Mods, they very well have time to watch episodes too.

Prema I am one of those silent readers usually, but only because I'm in a time zone where it's morning when you post and I usually have the little ones or work, which makes it difficult to post. In addition, I don't have a proper source to watch the episode so I do very much appreciate you posting the written updates so I can follow what is happening. However, with what has happened on your profile previously I completely understand if you no longer want to do the updates. ❤️

Also I really appreciate your point of views because sometimes I am unable to see certain flaws in the characters (which i choose to occasionally overlook, but your POV makes me stop and think really about the actual show) and it forces me to look at it from a neutral point as a show watcher. 😊😊

I don't think you have ever said anything that will be considered as offensive.what is the meaning of discussion if you don't call out the loopholes in writing and the action of characters? you have called out each and every character without any bias. You should continue to give LU as many viewers depend on that.due to someone, they should not suffer and we should not stop having entertaining discussions.that is exactly what the person who did this would want.

I completely understand if you decide to take a break though.its your decision at the end.❤️

I am really shocked to read the note. Don't know what to say. Everyone has write to say or comment on characters. We are not bashing any actors . We our commenting on just the story and characters .

Prema, totally understandable…

I have been on this forum for the past 2-3 months and I have observed most of us (including me) troll the writing and characters (which is done owing to the bad writing)…

there are a few who comment on the actors which is absolutely wrong because we don’t know them personally..

In fact, during the whole pun intended scenario last time, we were criticising those who messaged the actors…

IF WE CANNOT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE SHOW FREELY, THEN WHY DO WE HAVE THIS FORUM!!!

How can talking about what's shown in the episode & giving opinion can be against the rule?? Nobody used abusive language I guess.. But if we have a discussion thread about a show.. It's shortcomings, discussion on acting of actors, storyline, character flaws are all part of it.. What's wrong in that?

Min, I appreciate you looking for my written updates to know what’s going on in the episode but there are some thankless members lurking in the forum and the EDT who want to know everything about the show but never participate in any discussions and have been silent for way too long, yet won’t hesitate to hit the report button when their favorite lead is called out.
I don’t want to deal with such people and they don’t deserve my time and energy.

As for the show, people who have followed me for the last 9 months in this forum know that I view this show as a family/ensemble show where every character needs to get importance, their growth and progression is what I am interested in. Even though I have some favorite actors part of this show, that has not deterred me from calling out their characters when they are wrong.

I have mentioned this in the first 50 EDTs several times that each couple have their own story and the writers have to properly explore them only because I have been watching the original since it started and I know the potential this version could reach.

As for the original, though I loved Kathir-Mullai love story, Meena is my most favorite character of the show. She is flawed, accepts it, turned from a rich spoilt brat to a very sensible, confident woman who you would love to interact, always stands for the right thing and her love for her parents ( Janu and Kalyani) and her in-laws Pandian Stores family is so evident but balances it perfectly without hurting either of them.

These are small things I look for and find pleasure not only in Meena’s character but other characters as well in the original but unfortunately this version doesn’t show any of it with any character.

Thanks to each one of you who have interacted with me for the past several months and for your continued support. I will write a reply to each one of you, later this afternoon when I will have more time.

I will still give a line or two update on each scene or write a post on what I liked or disliked about the episode only after watching the episode in full.

Also my decision not to do lengthy updates with all dialogues anymore (which takes me 2 hrs every single day and I watch the episode as I am typing) is not because I am scared of some of the members who don’t leave a chance to complain to the Mods when their favorites are called out and like the posts when their favorites are appreciated or like the posts when others are called out. They reek of hypocrisy!
Frankly these people have no bearing in my life and my livelihood doesn’t depend on their likes and dislikes. They simply are not worth my time and effort.
