Actually shubham and mamaji asks for vedika's help to get rid of Anjali so vedika tells neeraj to get priya drunk for 2 reasons

1. If she is drunk she won't follow up on Anjali, and they will deal with it before ram gets to know. This is also the reason why shubham asks sara for dance because he wants to keep sara occupied when vedika deals with Priya.

2. When vedika shows their college proposal video if Priya is drunk she won't be able to hide how much hurt she is and will create a seen in the party with ram over his past.
