Ekta Kapoor has finally given her Mahabharat an apt title and of course, a title that goes with the K-factor, Kahaani Humaaray Mahabharat Ki. Rechristened after getting words of advice from the very popular Sanjay B. Jumaani and Sunita Menon, the epic coming from Ekta’s blocks now looks all set to create waves. Well, coming back to the ‘Who’s in ,who’s out’ when it comes to the casting, it looks like the newcomer and the blue-eyed boy Harshad Chopra has eventually walked away with the cake when it comes to playing the very pivotal character of Arjun. For the uninitiated, the buzz was that the role of Arjun was to be either played by Ekta loyalists, Shabbir Ahluwalia or Karan Patel.Presently seen playing the role of Prem in Ekta’s Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil, Harshad certainly seems to have impressed Ekta with his acting capabilities and of course, not to forget, his ever-pleasing smile!!Reporter and Author: Ranjini Nair

Sid replaces Harshad as Arjun in Mahaabhaarat

Harshad Chopra who shot to fame as Prem in Balaji's Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil was roped in for Ekta's Mahaabhaarat as Arjun. But now the actor is going to be replaced by another Balaji actor Sid Makkar.

Suraj Rao, Creative Head Mahaabhaarat, confirmed the news and said, "Harshad had date issues as his track has increased in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He is required there for a longer time so we decided to liberate him and got Sid Makkar to play Arjun in the show."

But Harshad Chopra chose to answer diplomatically, "I think it is true as that is what the media is reporting. As far as the length of my character is concerned then my track had opened since the time I have entered in the show and it is going to be increasing more. I am fine with it as Prem is more important to me."

Sid Makkad remained unavailable for his comment.

Ekta matal ki leela nirali but she did gave us prem nd anurag... Especially anurag ( bcoz i have watched the only so he is special) toh uske liye thank you 😆

HC didn’t leave DIL se bcoz he paled In front of that actor. He left because the story lost its charm. Also, tab bhi log HC ko hi bash kar rahe the aur uss negative lead ki itni tareef ki he is doing because he loves his wife too much and all nonsense. Kuch bhi matlab

And then In BP, HC was introduced by Jen to her group. HC is not active much in social media but after joining that gang. He kind of became a little regular and a lot off screen banters were posted by the other cast only. He has always been the same.

HC is more real life person than Social media person. These people are like "Thali Ka Baingan"
