But in imlie 2.0 also we can see the trait of old imlie.

Imlie have always a tendency to hold on things which she never got . I am not saying about material things but non material things .

In episode 1 or 2 there was a conversation between meethi & imlie where meethi said she always adored the sindhoor which she never able to get . From that point I feel how ever it comes imlie hold on sindhoor . As per life’s flow she removed it for Adhi wear it when reaches pd & finally at a point of marriage she wipe it.

Second I feel is family… she always want the family even Adhi said it just a castle of card you are making by hiding the truth but she doesn’t want to come out of family’s warmth.

Sister’s love . Even Malini showers love of a sister imlie believes in her love what ever reason and hope she will be reform .

I am not telling imlie at this stage involved in a romantic relationship but .. she have developed a comfort level with Aryan especially after the divorce episode .. when he come to her to cliff.

If we watch episodes earlier when ever a problem occurs she deal with or talk to anybody.

She never ever able to open her mind to anybody for long. Even To Adhi even he has to deal with his own inner turmoils.

Dev’s truth revelation imlie’s this trait was clearly shown … at that time Adhi goes behind her but with time especially in table thod shadhi Adhi was in a shock that how rudely his family accepted.

Now coming to imlie 2.0 she is at her most vulnerable stage of life … completely lost battle.. after continuously saying about Vishwas Adhi doesn’t give a thought about how imlie feels .. anger trust issues ego all culminated to a point.

So at this point imlie sees Aryan as a support system… when she says Aryan helped her to overcome her fear , now I feel that she was saying that one of her fear is losing Adhi… all day & night psycho didi was saying about this & each time she won… and most important weapon was also with the didi.. that she was clearly using each time … Technically Malini success in getting Adhi.

For AC Adhi have never able to stood more than a long period .. especially when imlie feels AC’s word is taken by Adhi . When Adhi refused AC to handover to police.

But for Aryan when ever a direct confrontation come he saves imlie … ( he still not find out about hotel incident.. or even hiding it like Malini’s visit, anyway that is not a big deal now )

Not only confined to AC , is spoilers is true upcoming episodes also we get to see Aryan’s support for imlie.

So clearly imlie will cherish the support of Aryan in future also like she did in case of family, their love ,

In suicide M1 track she said even When Adhi was not supporting her family supported so she will never forget family. As always imlie puts Adhi second.

In case of Aryan also I feel that . Because still now what was lacking in her life was get through Aryan.

So what you're basically saying is that Imlie herself never considered Adi a support system (out of choices she herself made to push him away even when he tried to support her) but now Aryan has manipulated perceptions to project himself as a "support system" so now this perception will become Imlie's truth and we should just accept it?😆

The enduring mystery will remain though - if they had to phase Imlie away from Adi and towards a new guy, why not bring her someone who is ACTUALLY supportive and respectful? Since logon ka main complaint tha that Adi supposedly didn't support/respect her enough blah blah, why not give her an actual confidante to share her sorrows with rather than an abusive asshole who bullies her on every level?

The fact that people are rooting for Imlie to be with such a guy simply out of a need for there to be ANY guy other than Adi in her life.....lol it reflects more poorly on them than they realize.

For me, it will always feel gross that Imlie willingly chose to gravitate to a guy who treated her like trash since day one and now she's considering him her greatest support system even when he still continues to manhandle her.....lol Adi ke saath ek rishta tha that made her hold on to him even when he was rude/harsh with her.....there is just no excuse under the sun to justify why/how she went to this guy.

Both imlie & Adhi was seperately dealing with their trauma for long . So in this stage a 3rd party comes …so obviously imlie will take him .

Also each one have seperate role in life . always a husband/ lover can’t fulfill all the role .. I feel like Aryan enter into Adilie life when both of them some what failed by external influence.. neither of them was able to fix .

Midnight ji I think you are trying to make sense of this Imlie 2.0 when there is actually no sense in the show.

Story sirf aur sirf contrivance pe chal rahi hai. That is why what we try to understand about Imlie's action in one scene gets nullified in the next scene to prop up ABP.

Sandy I agree with AY that there is no pressure needed on Imlie 2.0 to get married to ABP. She is doing whatever ABP wants without any majburi.

What you are describing is a hypothetical scenario about having different people play different roles in a person's life that can't be fulfilled by a husband/spouse. This is not what's happening in the actual story where they are giving obvious romantic connotations to Arylie interactions since over a month now.

And it's not just from Aryan's side anymore either....no matter how "comfortable" you feel with someone, the level to which Imlie has gotten touchy feely with this guy is far beyond any normal realms of "friendly touch" also....so it's already in a pretty questionable category, not just over whether Aryan has romantic interest. Imlie has let this guy in at many points out of her own choice.....all starting from her refusal to understand the concept of physical space and boundaries.

He may have been a diversion to her at one point but now she is looking quite enamored by everything he says and does - she has latched on to him as the "solution" to the problems she was facing in life.....lol and it will easily transition into love as well given the levels of the writing.

The Imlie who could once be respected as a force unto herself no longer exists....she was lost from the moment she got so randomly fascinated by a man who literally ran her over with his car and then continued to defend him even as he behaved cheaply with her.

Rest I agree that it has been proven that Adi was always secondary in her life....and as I've been saying since some days it's been proven ki Imlie never really understood the meaning of the word SAATH or what it actually meant to STAY in a marriage. She only understood her own made up concepts of akele rishta nibhaayenge....she never really had the capability to really understand how to function as a unit in a marriage. Let's see if Aryan can hopefully teach her that to once they are married cuz clearly Adi was a failure there too 😆
