On a serious note, they shouldn't trivalise mental health like this. I know people are uncomfortable with the shove, but I don't think it was intentional; not meant to exert power or dominance over her. He was really afraid that Arpita would freak out and burn alive, and xyz/Imlie was in the way. He or anyone else would have absolutely shoved anyone in their way

Imlie was really really stupid to not only play with fire but also with Arpi's mh.

Hoped they had shown a therapist instead.

Thanks for bringing this up! I agree - like we know about Arpita’s fear of fire but does Aryan not also have some fear there? This really traumatic event happened where he wasn’t able to save one of the most important people in his life. Now the same events appear to be replaying.

(Also I had totally wanted to reply to your other post - about gaze and it’s just been such an exhausting day. Thanks for your thoughts on that, I loved reading it and the discussion it resulted in 👏🏽)

S/n: she’s never been this extremely Imlie with Aditya but literally has shown Aryan every layer of herself. The good, bad, frustrating, charming, needy, cute, spunky - all of it. It’s almost instinct to just go with her first thought and desire with Aru. Also, she’s always busting her butt to protect, save and not harm Aditya but she must inherently know that Aru will not break. If he does, it’ll be connected to something disastrous happening to a loved one. That line Imlie will never cross

This and every other show always put the heroine on a pedestal to show the utmost dumb, regressive, and callous treatment of certain topics. It is pointless to discuss because their execution and treatment will always remain shoddy. I don't expect much of them. Others also don't.

Any kind of psychosomatic disorder requires therapy, not brotherly overprotection or sisterly peet ma koni tactics...Hallelujah to these people.🤪

If she set the fire herself, I don't know man. That's just not entertaining in any way. The main part of the precap was hilarious, but this fire thing - eeek.

I do think that it definitely makes more sense that the fire was an accident. I don’t doubt Imlie’s intentions are good, just not what this moment needed.

Something will happen though that’ll push Aryan’s feeling for her further. I do wish they’d talk about the family’s trauma. I loved when Imlie called it out in that one episode, that scene is one of my favourites. But then, nothing. I hope they have some moments together where he opens up to her more. Where she feels and understand his pain.

About Peet ma koni, well I do not find anything offensive. Arpita is successfully going to overcome her phobia. And Aryan has to learn to step back, the hard way.

I am just curious as to Tango kya mask dance ke saath saath dikhayenge; ya phir Arpita ke phobia kaand ke baad.
