From sautan drama onwards GM’s performance was reduced only we get good performance in JM episodes … after that few scenes only … mostly zoned out with MC.

I think that's because script demanded him to be passive in the sautan drama I guess. He had to play dumb role while dd was playing games. So I don't think it's about acting. He was just playing his part of a confused soul.
