Today's episode is a diretorial masterpiece.
Given where we stopped last episode, Meetwa was definitely affected by Manushi and he blinked away tears. Like most I wondered now that Manushi is in the AH, the progression that we saw during HM would that pause or take a back seat.
Today gave me confidence, that even with Manushi in AH we will see the growing bond between Meets.
The first day Meetwa saw Meety during the HM he said u are looking nice and cute. Christmas episode, he whispered achhi lag rahi ho and then bahut acchi.
But today as soon as he saw Meety walk in, his eyes lit he said Khoobsurat. He did not hesitate like he did with the flowers, he leaned in into her and just said it.
She smiled and responded. Said the same thing to him. They were in front of the family and we have seen Meety hesitate even to feed him cake on her birthday, today she was in her comfort zone.
Next Raj walks to start the music, they mention a family ritual. In the background, Meetwa is showing her the dance moves and he has both his hands on her shoulders as he brings her in the front. Without a doubt she is his family.
Then when Meetwa takes Tej's hand and places it on Babita's Tej takes a step back, we do not see Meety pouncing in right away, she gives them space and only when Tej is the only one left out, she brings him in
Meetwa is holding Meety's hand, she lets go and initiates a one arm hug. He is surprised, the thrill on his face. The pride on Meetwa's face that his Meety got Tej in the group dance.
Now that is progression.
Just last week Meetwa made a speech on trust and dheere dheere soulmates banane ki journey where he said - ""phir woh soulmates bante hain, bina kahe ek dusare ki baatein samajhte hain. "
Babita was not telling them anything, Meetwa asks her about Sunaina bhabi, they don't get a clear answer, so he signs Meety she goes to Ragini asks her when she doesn't get an answer she signs back to him. No words exchanged. The understanding this showed, the comfort level - hats off.
I, like everyone questioned if their journey towards each other is going to be put on hold just because now Manushi is there then the entire HM sequences made no sense.
Precap - tum tumhari behen ka khayal rakh sakti ho .. It wasn't Manushi it seems like his brain has now accepted Manushi's place in his life it is Meety's sister.
And all this while Manushi was in the house, not one longing look, not once did he look around or think of inviting Manushi or go to thank her... All in all a very good episode for me.
Ignore Babita, She and Tej are the catalyst that is going to bring these two together.. that discussion is for another day.
But what is noteworthy is that when Babita asked them the question agar Meet tumhe bhul jaye.. both were shocked. So far we only looked at when Meetwa will fall in love, we took Meety's stand in the relationship for granted. What if she says yes... Meetwa ki kya halat hogi...
