Well, there could be a track where there is a flashback of sorts and Karan listens to Aneesh saying or doing something questionable but he didn't have any proof, and hence, doesn't accuse him, but he is warning Monami to stay away from him because he doesn't want her to be hurt. (I have been watching too much tv...)

It could be that he is just treating this as a war, like a defense strategy, divide and rule, but I am not too sure, considering Karan would not risk everything if it flips over.

More than that, I need to rack my mind. Mera dimaag thoda slow loading hai. Shayad thodi der mein kuch aur bhi soojh jaaye.

I have a doubt! Monami ki age kya hai? 10 saal ho gaya agar college khatam kiye, toh early 30s mein honi chahiye.

Usne MBBS kiya hai. 17 se early MBBS ke college mein admission nahi milta. Toh, even assuming 17, then 22 tak uska MBBS chala hoga. And assuming ki Aneesh apna last year complete karne ke baad chala gaya, matlab when Monami would be 21, then also, wo 31 ki hogi.

I felt that too, that there is more than just jealousy though his expressions only conveyed his jealousy or some helplessness too

Maybe as a guy he isn't liking all this flirting & extra attention that Aneesh is showering on Monu & Monu being so sweet & cute taking it all as just healthy flirting but Karan clearly understands that Aneesh expects more, so he wants to warn Monu of spending time with Aneesh in alone like 'beware, just don't trust him blindly because he was your friend once, so be watchful, don't ignore the red flags'
