Progressive episode

Finally the real track started. Mahir and Mehru real story started. Mahir proposed Mehru. First i thought it would be dream sequence but nah It was real. It showed that Mahir's character is straight forward. He is not banawati. Jo dil main ho bol deta hai.

Mehru's reaction was on point. Javed Sheikh's character will definitely have something there. Maybe he will help or support mehru.

Just because Maahir is being played excellently by a very good looking Bilal, i think a lot of us are giving him a free pass. Maahir is a selfish, lazy and opportunistic character. He proposed marriage to Mehru for selfish reason. He doesn't love her (even if he does, he doesn't know it yet - so at this point his intentions are questionable), he wants to marry her for easy rich life. Gold digger in short! He may not be as sinister as some antagonist we have seen but certainly isn't the cute bechara, kismat ka mara either. He wants quick bucks without any effort.

I think sometimes actors persona tops the characters arc.. Think the terrible Basher Momin plot of rapist being hailed as hero.

Mehru is the person of integrity here. She can see and sense happenings around her. Coming to the proposal from Javed Sheikhs character, im sure she sees thru that fake proposal as well. My only question is if she had to pick the lesser evil of two.. between Maahir and Javed, under what circumstances will she pick maahir? Practically it makes sense for her to choose Javed than Maahir. (waise main toh kahungi behen single reh and life enjoy kar).

And lastly the thing that was a bit weird to me was while proposing to Mehru - both men used the sentence "main tumhe APNANAA chahta hun". What's with that? Is she like a second hand thing or unclaimed thing/person that these men want to "save", protect her honor? Or are they implying how big hearted they are to accept her inspite of her age, social status etc? I mean haven't heard anyone use this term/phrase while proposing to a single girl, then why for widow or divorcee? Or am i just overthinking? 😝

Ofcourse Mahir is not Saint. He has flaws and he is selfish but just because He is halaat ka maraa hua that's why he abled to get some sympathy otherwise that proposal was not done as he loves mehru, he proposed her because of his own selfish motives.

Mehru will choose someone who understands her. Tho Mahir being selfish but still Mahir understands Mehru, her feelings. As Mahir is Hero so we will get to see that he actually will fall for her.

Don't know the Exact Reason behind that sentence. If it meant that tumhy ehsaan kar rahy hain tumsey shadi karky then definitely it is in bad taste. Mehru does not need a man in her life who marries her while thinking that he is doing some ehsaan on her

What a beautifull episode. I kept rewatching Bilal's scenes. I couldn't get enough.😳

I loved watching Mahir and Mehru's scene.. Narmeen hurted him badly, so it affected him. I don't think he was ready to propose Mehru if he wasn't insulted by Narmeen. So as a reaction he thought of getting back to her.. first by welcoming Mehru , and adressing her as a friend .. someone who likes him, not as Narmeen said that he isn't worthy of love. and then by trying his luck, to come out of that poorness zone, so that none mocks him again.

I know it is wrong, but his proposal, and refusing to take his words back after Mehru's rejection made me respect him. He is a fighter.😆 He has the guts.. and Mehru's hitting him and pretending that she was only doing him a favor and sympathying with him, didn't stop him from trying to convince her.😃 That ( apnana) I thought means Mine, but I guess I am wrong.😳 I felt happy that Mehru understood his reasons, and she will get married to him knowing that he doesn't love her.. it will be like an agreement.. both need eachother, and will help eachother in someway.😊

Ibtisam is like his name : a smile.😃 How I like him, he is such a kind hearted man, but he gets manipulated easily by phupho. I think more that wanting her money, he too needs a companion. And I am excited to watch the next episode , coz I think he'll support her.

Mahir's friend's reaction in the last scene, his dialogues , and the way he imitated the broken Mahir were hilarious. 🤣

Yes. This is the world. It is like he was really in love with her. And he never hesitated for a moment.. even after she scolded him, and as he described it later to his friend : threw laanats on him and put him in his place.😃

When I saw the first bts pics of this drama I kept praying that there's a young actress playing the female lead opposite Bilal in this drama. But after watching him with Hadiqa I can't imagine any other female lead opp him. ❤️

Usama is too good as mehrus son and I m liking the comic angle with the Buddha angle as well

I m glad here both the guys and the dead husband aka nauman ejaz wasn't shown to be unnecessarily evil or tharki

All 3 of them were indeed fond of mehru and mehru also respects the husband and the uncle but she gels well with Mahir

That also they showed in such aesthetic way
