Episode belonged to ST and Imlie - and she put forth all valid points - I may have to rewatch to really process what happened - but I also think precap is misleading. So I do not want to jump to conclusions from the precap.

No matter what happens between Adi and Imlie, Adi has always been consistent about how he feels about Imlie’s career and ambition- so I want to wait and see what is the actual conversation which made Imlie ask him does she have to leave all her dreams?

I feel like imlie went to extreme that when Adhithya like you get my pain when I see you with Aryan.

For that she responded. Yes extreme was there but she thought she got divorce & Adhi married Malini by thinking extreme about them .

She took a pause when she realised, what actually happened, she is also in point that actually Adhi is making things to done by Malini. Even in gunshot Adhithya’s questioned was by instigation of Malini not by himself.

Adhi is like I done the mistake , but imlie is more on who instigated, is the culprit.

I think this traits of Adhi & imlie is from beginning, that’s why imlie non complaining about Adhi’s harsh behaviour to her in initial days , & more empathetic to him while Adhi sees end point only.

Same difference of opinion is seen in SK’s case also

Aryan’s case Adhi feels like she is turning to a puppet , when she rejects him at first , but changed opinion when Aryan insisted to go . This case is for WW Aryan in future , they open his character in multiple directions before they decide which route they want to go. May be opposite to Malini’s character.
