Child in trouble or any one in trouble Kajol tries to be the saviour and somehow ends up needing to be saved. Even if you cannot be original please steal some incident from another ITV show.

And just trying to create romance by showing hardship faced by two lovers who are not Star-crossed but are being portrayed as such is not a plus point. And what is it with this hide and seek. Is Anurag a child or Kajol one.

Then the coincidence of ITV that when Anurag instead of being a real hero and finding a solution for the predicament that Kajol is in and trying to save her and their relationship does runner like a coward running from his problems ends up meeting her at Haridwar (And why Haridwar of all places). I mean it you can force feed us star-crossed lovers but to be honest their problems are not that big. They are no Anurag and Prerna, from the Kasauti Zindagi Kay the original one (jo mile the bichhadne ke liye).

They have a psycho stalker with a stupid blackmail attempt if he was smart he would just record the conversation and be done with it. Anurag a supposedly superb surgeon is just an idiot. Just throwing romantic dialogues and scenes does not really make it romantic. I loved the Dargah scene but now we will get a temple scene and if he puts sindoor iny Kajol's forehead then spare me the drama please. Using religious symbolism another trope used ad nauseam in this show.

BTW how many times has Kajol or Anurag actually ended up in hospital.

Portraying true love might be their aim but the CVs are miserably failing or just making us miserable cannot decide.

@Arivarshi.- great detailed post on your part and well observed however for me I am just taking a chill out pill (in my mind not in reality I hasten to add)because show has derailed after Vishu's death and not sure where we are heading except that show is either to end on 14th Jan or has a temporary stay of extension

To me what they are attempting to show is a character of Anurag of a world successful surgeon who is supposedly egotistical (though I never saw him as that); arrogant and aloof & who has never dared to love until now and having done so has seemingly lost control of his mind and senses...now I know this is fictional tv...so do we say above cant happen in real life? It can and it does.

Kajols character had not really deviated from being self sacrificing for her family to now being self sacrificing for her love...I always maintain that Kajols test is to be able to Trust in her love, to love wholeheartedly and to put herself first as to be value herself enough to have what she wants in life; ie if Anurag and his love is what she wants then she has to fight for it even if she has to fight herself for it ( whatever her preconceived notions are...) in this way CVS have spent more time in Anurag's development then they have on Kajols falling in love journey

Why Hardiwar?.Why not...if you follow track of show from start ( bearing 1st 14 epi which I missed so I cannot comment on) the show is heavily based on symbolic nature at at each intersection or crossroad there is another development track so Haridwar is the nexus point for next track..I personally would love Anurag to put sindoor on Kajol's head and just marry her there and then but that might be wishful thinking on my part or it may be trump card by cvs.

Anurag asked Priyanka for 7 days...there is no doubt in my mind he will work out a solution by then, whether that is executed well or not only time will tell.- whether Hardiwar track ends with Anjol we will.find out by Fri but production house would not face filming out of Mumbai with Covid if it was not going to lead somewhere...its too expensive a risk for them to take or they have more money than I thought to spend on budget 😀

Yes in a logical situation he would record convo with stalker...but really I have lost times of tv shows I have watched where even a 10 year old can say ...press record on the phone or what not...but thats exactly the point...we cant expect any type of logic in this show nor are we going to get any original or new or unique direction at this late stage of show.

Now if there was to be a longer stay of the show the only way it could be revived is that you bring in new directing team & new writers and let's face it - its unlikely to happen.

So we will go around and around show and get a rushed Anjol ending or with an extension time to clear up loose ends

Is it worth going into angst over this.. for me, no..I am just going to enjoy what's left of it and put my own take on symbolisms on it - for me I quite like the symbolic nature of this show when it comes to Anjol because its not actually shown with Nania/ Arjun or Aayan/Shreya.

I dont know about other shows and star crossed lovers or not...this show I will.say had a great concept at the start but got derailed overnight after Vishus death - useless to say what they could have done differently - its what they do in remaining time that counts ..if we are expecting something different to what we have seen so far I think that is not really going to happen so for me if its Anjol end 2 weeks from.now or 2 months from now with loose ends being tied up I will take it

I have watched each day from.epi 15 and will continue to watch till the end which looks to be imminent

For me it doesnt look like anymore. Only by ending up at the same place all the time and Kajol needing a damn saviour all the time which happens to be Anurag doesnt make them true lovers in my eyes.

Patching up, Breaking up, Patching up again and then Breaking up again.....what kind of bullshit relationship is this ??

@ Esha - haha I am laughing because what we as viewers want is always at cross purposes to what production house show us..very rarely unless its a well honed tightly scripted show do we get what we want in this particular story line its hit and miss with audience let alone the characters - maybe this production house thinks this is the way to progress the story...its not as far as viewers are concerned but there is nothing we can do..show is ending anyway sooner or later.

I personally like the symbolisms even though its taking a while for it to come through still having waited 40 episodes I can wait another 10 or 20😃

Bold: I guess for me its the ultimate in true love sacrifice....read to much rubbish mills snd boon growing up hence why I go for old fashioned concepts - but that's just me

Regarding Anurag his first time falling in love which he himself think was impossible..Everyday his love for kajol is reaching another level..Not only in reel life it exists but this kind of love do happen in real life and can say soulmate does exist..won't go in detail and it's not surprising for me to watch this intensity of love of Anurag for Kajol.

Coming to kajol her family is her priority and her selfless action towards everyone is truly commendable..Today Anurag did say you take care of everyone but when you will do so for yourself.. That's why we are getting this track at this holy place..Since day one kajol is visualizing anurag everywhere...This haridwar track will hopefully finally make kajol realize the intensity.of her love for Anurag ..Her mind ,heart ,soul all are connected with him ..Its time for kajol to not let go of her love now so easily but do realize Anurag is hers only ..I mean kajol should start thinking of herself, her happiness and it's Anurag..

Haridwar track will be the final test of love for anjol..A holy place where lots of symbolic things happen..I just like such symbolism they keep showing for anjol since beginning..Its kind of give the positive vibes and give hope all will be well for them..What beats me here is why when its shown in other serials its ok but here on anjol its like so terrible..

I like this kind of subtle love story and for me anjol is a treat to watch onscreen..They give me a little vibe of the Betty neels kind of romance.. For anjol its pure and beautiful ..

Another thing I think as a viewer we should appreciate the hard work of the actors..Just imagine that haridwar track they have shot it in one or 2 days and the coming up mandir scene of anjol was shot late night in cold weather.

Another thing every track has a build up first to get the end result.. That's why the scenario is unfolded as per the number of reels are required to go on air and we do know mostly its Wednesday or Friday that we get the highly expected scenes..

As you say it's reel life so not searching for logic and will keep enjoy watching tbtp..

The positive Me says it will be anjol's journey ahead as husband /wife..let's see..

Each of us have different views on the show or actors..That's fine and too bad you are not liking the current track..

As I mentioned before I don't watch many ITV shows ..I have a selected choice for the hindi shows..I can say first time, I'm religiously watching a show without having the remote in hand..There is something in the concept or can say anjol that has made me to do so for tbtp..I do agree though in between the narration of some plots have been stretched like rubber band.Example the chondona turning like a step mother to Kajol which was not needed till the Durga puja.

Coming to the lead pair lovestory, I always knew creatives will keep it as their Trump card..They will unfold it with all the needed drama to finally them getting married.Truthfully I'm liking this track because it's showing on one side a practical no nonsense guy who has fallen in love for the first time and so deeply with a kind hearted,intelligent brave girl who has been betrayed in love..A betrayal which has made her heart closed in a nutshell..After a longtime, she has opened it for Anurag ..Now this love we can named it for both as an unconditional one,an endless one or just pure true love.A love which kajol was destined to get and it was shown on the day of her wedding with arjun..

A subtle romance or lovestory unfolding as per the characterisation of both actors..For me I find this beautiful to watch rather than those toxic leads or cheating etc etc..This is not the forum to mention other shows or characters but it feel good to read some viewers are fed up with one of the colors show and looking forward to watch tbtp..

Regarding karan he is fantastic as Anurag .His character graph is same till date and ishita doing amazing as kajol..

I will keep enjoying the show ..Everyone is having new look so waiting for kajol's new look and definitely want to see her more in sarees..

They will see each other tomorrow ..

Wednesday is the day, they will be at the Maa Durga mandir..Waiting to watch that scene ,the turning point in their relationship and their journey hopefully as husband /wife ahead.

@Savee; ohh we are indeed at turning point with Haridawar track...I think.bwt Wed-Fri we will get a resolution esp of ahow ends on 14th Jan or is given a little extension till Feb to clear up loose ends

Being a die hard romantic I am hoping for an Anjol wedding at least

Your observations in bold are a reflection of what I feel..Anurag unraveling as a man in love a man who was so sure of his place in life never saw beyond his work and his relationship with his aunt; never thought he would fall in love that too with his cousin's ex-fiancee not to mention he does not like his relations.

In a way this is a clever twist on regular plots, here cvs has focused on developing the male lead's portrayal of a man unravelling in love losing seemingly all good sense..(does it happen in real life, yes it does I work in a hospital surgical unit & can say it really does). In this case Anurag's hands shaking at prospect of giving injection to Kajol, his Kajol who he has sworn to protect and Sameer's astute observations on Anurag's behaviour.

What's really interesting for me is that you can pretty much track the moment Anurag fell in love or recognised and put a name to his emotions but for Kajol for a character that is so open she is far more nuanced and a closed book than Anurag. We know she feels immense love for her family & for Vishu for certain. Not havinf watched 1dt 14 epi of series can I say she was genuinely in love with Arjun, who am I to say what this was..but going from.epu 15 onwards where I taped each epi I can say Kajol is a closed book when it comes to Anurag...you never actually see her unravelling or falling in love process, to me I see her unravelling after Priyanka and mother come to the house after Anurag's second public proposal but you never actually see her confess her love, not till the Dargah scene..even then she stopped herself from saying she loved Anurag twice, she said it the once in that scene and once more in telephone scene..& once when they got engaged but to her family she has never once mentioned what she feels for him. They know by her behaviour but I would like a more emotional breakdown from her...even the pain she felt at birthday party fiasco and what followed after her engagement was tightly controlled on her part as I said more of a closed book than Anurag. But even in her unconscious state she takes his name..its good to see..I want more of her perspective of the depth of love she feels for him

Yes they are both sacrificing for each other but until they actually talk nothing can come to light so its to be hoped this Hardiwar track is trump card as you say so until both are faced with death via cyclone will they admit once and for all the truth hopefully ie Anurag & blackmail by Priyanka but more importantly I want Kajol to admit out loud just how important Anurag is to her. Its only on writing this that I realise just how complex and stubborn Kajol's character is .

Ok well for cvs they use a child as feature of save & rescue of child & saving of Kajol as a result so nothing unexpected here but what I would like is for once and for all stop leading us around the bush & just bring them together as a married couple

I am remembering Anurags conversations with Kajol.saying once he had parents consent he would just marry Kajol there and then & cvs bought up that memory when Kajol picked up bangles then put them back at stall.

Ok so next, save, rescue, storm unleashed both literally and metaphorically & hopefully with clearing of storm comes clarity

As to new look, as Mrs Anurag Basu its to be hoped Kajol gets a wardrobe upgrade: why should it be Shreya and Nania who get to wear good sarees. Kajol has been roaming around in 5 or 6 outfits till last week 😀😀😀

I am hoping Hardiwar track focuses on the depth of love Kajol feels for Anurag and if they do get married in Hardiwar I dont want a cloak and dagger hidden wedding from Priyanka - the only way to shut the mouth of Priyanja her mother & Anurag's grandmother is to face them all proudly as man and wife; head on esp Kajol, only Kajol.should have the guts to do this...put Kajol to jail forever Priyanka; really? ..only in her dreams, Anurag would never let that happen and Priyabka would see Maa Durga avatar released in Kajol if Priyanka dared to go after Anurag.

Anurag has learnt that there is nothing worse than a woman scorned in love as he has found out to his cost with Priyanks ...as he told Priyanka he recognises Priyanka love but he is not in love with her but he is yet to see the power of love unleashed when Kajol wholeheartedly accepts him as her husband and when she does it will have been worth the wait

Also hoping for Vishu's ghost to make a well timed visit to Kajol in Hardiwar, its about time he showed up😀.

I’ve already stopped watching (keeping the TV for trp though) /feel utterly bored by the show. Used to rant previously about the show or characters but now I’m so disconnected from it I don’t care enough to discuss this show lol, unless something interesting happens

Love Karan Suchak and Ishita Dutta and the skill/effort it’s taken them to make this nonsense watchable for this long, but can’t do this anymore

Outfits: I like Kajol’s salwars because it suits her character- no nonsense, functional and traditional. But I wish they had more variety to her wardrobe than just the anarkali type salwars (that’s what the flowing dress type salwars are called right?), could have her wear different kinds of kurtis or something. But it’s a believable wardrobe, relatable to everyday life sort of traditional wear

Edit: Anurag’s traditional wear, outlandish and deserves a special place in hell for those crazy flowers. Asides that, I mostly like his clothing for the same reason I like Kajol’s- suits their characters. Neither of them are too focused on their appearances and he is hence often in plainer formals. I think the reason others like Arjun have better clothes is to suit their characters- Arjun is a seasoned playboy and his appearance is hence very important to him

I don’t think anyone (at least) I am in any angst over the show. Life has enough real problems for us to take tension over a fictional show and characters I think lol.

It’s not even about why the characters are acting the way they are anymore, however illogical, because it has been established that this show has not been blessed with creative writers, so I don’t expect anything out of the ordinary from them.

However, it is impossible to praise a show all the time or think of justifications/reasons for characters behaving like headless chickens due to bad writing. See it’s simple. If we can praise a show/character/jodi, we hold the right to critique it as well.

I really like Arivarshi’s posts because I believe TBH she is the only neutral voice here. She views the show objectively, and is able to thus critique or defend it without any bias. Also her ITV viewing experience is extensive. I love what she has to say because she looks at things from all angles I miss. Also, she knows not to mix her liking for an actor/actress with their character. It’s like reading a professional review.

I don’t want us to only say good things here just because we have accepted the fact that the writers are useless. No that’s not how it works or should work.

My main problem with the hardiwaar track isn’t that both leads ended up there instead of taking Kajol’s legal trouble head on. But that the writers have now wasted 3 episodes of this track in purposeless hide and seek between Anjol. And then it’s going to be just a couple or maybe even one episode of Anjol make up, and after that we are back to Priyanka’s scheming and plotting. That is what is irritating me. I don’t even care anymore how or why the leads are behaving coz like I have said many times before, for me both characters are not relatable at all.

P.S. And no Kajol does not only have six clothes. She has new suits all the time they are just very similar in design maybe that’s why they appear the same to you. Which also reinforces my point about the leads’ wardrobe.

i am confused now why is this sameer came?🤔 wasn't priyanka enough that now they added another character and i feel something fishy about this dude or shall i say cvs bc i don't think AK will meet this soon bc cvs is gonna use them as trump card and will twist stuff. NOW i hope whatever i am thinking don't happen otherwise whatever fans are watching they will leave.
