All the four characters standing facing one another which looked like a square but the eye lock made it look like a Z. M looking at Adi who's looking at Imlie ( who to me looked like was actually looking back at him) and Aryan looking at Imlie. I don't know some r saying both Aru & Imlie were infact looking at eo but to me it didn't appear like that. Also Imlie refusing to accept the kaleerein from M which she gave her as a good luck to find a potential partner. These two scenes looked wierd & also gave me a feeling that Aryan's love could be one-sided. 😭

But the conversation in the kitchen scene was absolute contrast like Imlie actually called her love for Adi as wifely obligation. She further equated it to emotion sickness. And the fact that she said it makes me feel if she was indeed aware of it all this while but still holding on to it coz of the social conditioning.

I'm really confused. What are they even trying to convey?

Main to kab se keh rahi hu, that its a square, gadhero ne ab dikhaya square😆. Imlie and Aditya were indeed looking at each other, Malini was looking at Aditya and Aryan at Imlie. And technically, Malini and Aryan are standing at a one-sided angle only, kyunki AdiLie is still a mutual thing. So, what do you expect to happen? Malini is loony knowing Aditya does not love her. Jo 7 saal me nahi hua woh kabhi nahi hoga. Aditya does not even know what the fck the guy wants. I find him loony and as Aryan puts it disgusting as well.

Imlie is still in love with Aditya. And please don't go by whatever Imlie says to be honest, cause she retracts on statements rather efficiently. Imlie was not thinking and talking in-depth. She was just stating that she is an emotional fool, who was true and faithful in everything in her life, and never pretended anything. And whatever has happened and will happen will be of her choosing, with no regrets. She did not do any algebra on obligation or emotion sickness, to be honest. She was just doing the classic JWM rant of Geet when she was supposedly eloping with Aditya.

They are only trying to convey that this a going to be a hot mess in the long run managing this square.😆

Okay, jokes apart, what I feel is they were trying to map out the status quo and where each equation stands at present. AdiNi are married, yet far apart, AdiLie are separated yet they haven't let go of each other completely, AryLie well is still separate, but much closer than they know. And this will change again. I can anticipate that this square will play out again in the future, but who will stand where is what remains to be seen.

Since its about Imlie, it is rather easy to walk to Aryan than Aditya as he is closer.😉

but the one i am questioning is the eye lock one, in that Imlie's body is towards Malini (as she is talking to her) and there per 180deg rule Malu on her left Adi on center towards right while Aru on extreme right...

hence the whole confusion..

and i am still watching that moment again to get the gist of whole thing again but still i am not feeling that she is looking at Aru.. there is no motivation in the moment before that would lead her to look at Aru.. Aru's body language changes as he starts looking upwards and Over the shoulder shot over imlie there proves that he is indeed looking at her but we have no POV shot of her to confirm whom she is looking at. but Aru's face is there on camera.. ill keep on watching till i figure out *phew* ye show mujh se kya kya karwata hai

look at the pic in this.. just change the direction of Imlie from Aru towards Malu and thats the establishment shot for the positions...

conclusion.. it was a badly, very edited scene... no consistency of rules and camera positions...

they changed imlie's position for the OTS of Aru and her close up then how come viewers be consistent abt the emotions...ahhhh

I say let my currency be plenty of Arylicious scenes that eventually end in their HEA. Mera romantic dil sirf sochke dhadakta hai…..the possibilies are endless

Yeah that was his professionalism and years of dealing with creeps that he wasn't letting the cringe expression adore his face I on the other hand would have puking by the end of the table... if I had to rewrite that scene BY God🤣 I'm laughing by even thinking about how I would have shaped it. That would have turned into a circus than a cringe fest... Well I'll keep in mind let's bring it up sometimes🤣🤣
