I have been waiting for someone to bring this up regarding Adi/lie relationship. He always treated him as a petulant fangirl. He doesn't change his opinions even when she presents him with new data. Many insecurities in relationships do actually root from immaturity (Hellooooo, Aditya feeling insecure by his boss, anyone?). But he dismissed all her concerns wrt Malini as her immaturity and insecurities. That's a big f-cking red flag.

Aryan is the exact opposite. She bickers and fights with him because he's actually responsive to her opinions. He levels the playing field. Today, too, he changed his opinions wrt crying because Imlie has time and again proven that she's strong and can put herself back in one piece.

Exactly, and while Imlie was busy fangirling all over Aditya, Aditya was shoving all his "adult" decisions on Imlie to drive his non-ownership narrative. Seriously??😲He left a 19-year old to make decisions for a forced marriage,someone who has zero idea about what marriage is. Inse bas badi badi baatein karwalo.

And here we have Aryan Singh Rathore, ek aadmi jiske saath uska kuch bhi match nahi karta, like Aditya. And they began with conflict just like with Aditya. But Aryan from the very beginning has seen her as an adult, emphasized by bade hone ka ehsaas tab hota hai jab hum apni galti se seekhe. Neither he himself runs away from responsibilities, and neither he allows Imlie to. He doesn't impose, rather allows Imlie to make the choices.

He guides her like a true mentor, and his aim is not to make her like him because he doesn't think himself to be perfect or even god like. He knows he is flawed... he wants her to be the best version of herself. Her wants her to be strong, he wants her to be independent!

He wants her to stand up after falling! But most of all he respects her as a individual who is way more than his play thing.

@bold that's why thats my fav AryLie moment.. like first time someone told her being adult is not just grow in age but to be to able to handle what it comes with the mistake you made.. ahhh i loved that scene.. ill go watch it again
