YHM's writer was Sonali Jaffar and she wasn't convinced with KP from the start. She had even given an interview about this. It was her who wanted to have HC on board.

Sonali Jaffar was part of the writing team on Kis desh as well. HC was also supposed to do Meenu Masi in 2016 on Star Plus which was produced by Sonali Jaffar, but that show got shelved god knows why... and unfortunately, that show never aired.

HC had shot the pilot and even done costume shopping with Sanaya. It somehow didn't work out. He's too choosy which is good in a way, but it's not to his advantage. It's ITV after all. After a point, everything is the same old ghisa pita stuff. I think he should have done immj1. He also needs to approach Web platforms like zee5, prime, alt Balaji, etc. for Web shows.

Akshu poetry took me 2 hours... Everything else was on the spot and it might be half an hour job to do. I do have to think a lot to rhyme or for it to be in sync...

Personally 2013 was a very tough year for HC. His mother who was battling cancer passed away. So he was in a shell for a long time. Meenu mausi was one show which he had shot the pilot scenes and some promos too. But it got shelved due to some reasons. That show looked promising.

Yeah he is choosy and its good also. For instance BP was such a good show which was ruined and ended abruptly. Good shows should come to an end before we start hating it.
