This is missing from the love triangle plots rn.. I liked that in the beginning it wasn't just about gender but other things like failure, and politics also but rn.. what is happening? I miss the Deepika of the first episode/ week. She was so professional and such good manners. No partiality or anything of that sort. I want them to show the gender issue and other struggles of doctors. Deepika fought so much for ER and now she is in general surgery most of the time🥱

The other characters also have great scope.. Ansari and his past, efforts. Sia's need to prove herself and plastic surgery(hopefully this will happen post breakup), Murgiwala dealing with how to actually become a doctor after being a topper and learning from mistakes/choosing specialisation. This Abhay-Deepika-Vikrant-Sia-Aditi is meh.. It's becoming like all those other medical dramas which ended up as love stories with hospital background. But I do give them credit for executing the confusing stuff much better than the other shows rn. Like if I keep aside my anti romance agenda and look at it as a love story(free from my huge expectations) it is quite good.

And about the gender thing.. Vikrant did also have 3+ years of experience and worked in ER of the hospital with the best ER in the country so idk why they ignored that to make it seem like purely gender. I would rather they showed two candidates with equal experience and then make them choose the guy. But I guess what they showed with Jamshed's period argument could happen in some people's head so it is nice that they brought that up

This show began with a lot of potential and it seemed it would be a story about contemporary issues, about real people but sad to see that it has already derailed to become an inane, regressive Indian tv series. Despite his handsomeness, Vikrant is a character that I find unpalatable and to see Deepika responding coyly to his overtures is ugly to put it mildly. Even the medical authenticity is suffering, no surgery or case involves the junior interns. It’s all about putting Vijrant and Deepika together. From serious real issues, it has digressed and personally, I have lost interest.
