Bhai, subah subah iss bande ka narcissism dekh Kar man karta hai ki kabhi kisi admi ki shakal na dekhun. How is he journalist if he doesn't have a singular independent thought? Kisi ki baat pe bhi ludhak jaata hai. Malini is vile, but in his mind, she's his baby mama and he's willing to abandon her minutes before the wedding? My heart broke into pieces for Imlie. Aru's misguided decision, which will cause Imlie eventual good, will come to bite him in the ass. He was really wrong today. She's going to get heartbroken over his-ex-jija-ex-pati as well as Aru.

I suspected that Aru would delete a message for Imlie as soon as he got her phone on the wedding day.

It still plays into "bestie trying to protect friend" mode.

But yes, will eventually work against him when his revenge angle is revealed.

It's going to add enough doubt to momentarily destroy whatever is growing between him and Imlie. The fact that the kidnapping is already underway doesn't make a difference. He and Imlie will deal with this and he will have to apologize and also make sure this doesn't become a habit.
