To stop him as per Aparna's wishes - Imlie needs to ask Adi -'Can I ask you one thing? On our anniversary, what did I say in my letter that upset you so much you wanted to divorce me?' To which he would hopefully say ' What letter? You gave me divorce papers' and Malini might then be exposed.

Probably far too sensible for this serial for whom no-one ever asks the questions that would normally be asked!

No, at the time when Adi was simply blind regarding Malini, GM gave an interview where he basically criticized the story and he is trying his best to relate to the character, after that Adi's character has gone downhill
