It's a wait and watch situation. Anything could happen. I do have confidence though that Aditya and Imlie are done. Imlie's life is waiting for her, whatever it may be.

Bold - Yes, sounds plausible but the makers will run into major issues with that plot unless they're sure that AdiLie is what they want to go with in the end. Because filling the maang in itv is not a scene they can risk without following it up with acceptance by the FL, given that this has been the lead couple for so long. So a scene like this will make Adi bechaara and Imlie heartless and un-pativrata and all the other homebreaker adjectives if she doesn’t accept that forceful maang-filling. Unless they do this at a point when Adi has gone complete psycho. In that case, they may be able to make it work.

Maybe Aditya tries to do it but doesn't succeed. I feel like if there is such an anger/force/manipulated maang filling, it only fits Aditya's current trajectory.

I agree about the significance of the scene though. It's not something they would picturize lightly, Aditya "succeeding" at it. On the other hand too that would be a great way to subvert their previous plot as they've been doing so far. But I agree, I don't think we'll actually see Aditya fill her maang again. A close call at most.

I have this strange feeling it will happen once Aditya realizes it's truly over. Everytime I see him insult Imlie or pick Malini over her during this track I'm reminded of a game of chicken. And he'll back down first because for Imlie this is no game. He will legit go crazy when that happens.

While Malini is being mentioned - I felt like a brief peek into old Malini was shown yday. In my opinion, she was always super insecure and emotionally unstable BUT she was in a relationship which was mutually forged by AdiNi. Given I didn't care for Malini, there were points where one could empathize with her and feel for her situation. She stepped away gracefully BUT got submerged in the deepest murk possible to justify the AdiLie track 😒 If something, like AdiLie, is perfect and made to be -- why does another character need to be so severely butchered to make them acceptable?

It's like the saying right: When you see crazy you also see the person with them. And that person usually has a perfectly fine-tuned set of crazy making behaviours. It's just one big mess.

I loved that too. First she’s like palat and then when he does she’s like why’d you turn around. And I know his reaction has been talked about but it was so cute and he was like “snap out of it!” Like when he realized what he’d said after calling her cute.

They’re too cute together.

Finally, this thread has slowed down some. 40 pages in a matter of 12 hrs is no easy feat Arylie-ans. I was catching up ata furious pace. So many good posts. I agree with PP that there was time when Adi was in Imlie’s corner but he lost me when he began treating her like a child, her opinion of no value in front of Malini. Also agree that there are some members who are just unfairly bashing actors who are giving their best to portray their flawed characters. Malini is plain evil at times but to call Aryan Didi no.2 is a stretch. Yes his blaming Adi alone for what happened to his brother in law is unfair but I think once Imlie finds out only she can bring out of that particular he’ll hole he is in. But that in no way compares to Malini’s machinations. He seems to have more usools and integrity for sure, I like this thread for this very reason. There is no name calling, just pure unabashed praise.

So I temporarily started watching Udaariyaan when Angad Maan first showed up. I hated that show, I would see bits and pieces here and there when my parents were watching and the EMA was literally disgusting. But what was more disgusting was that they were likely going to have the FL who was cheated stay/go back to the man who treated her like crap and betrayed her. I think it’s a very different situation here. The way the storytelling has been done so far I have way more faith that Aryan and Imlie are the way forward here. That being said, one can never be 100% sure and there’s always the possibility of the writers going in a completely different direction. Having seen what they did in that other show with Angad and how Aryan’s character has evolved it just feels different (also, why are all these new men in these ladies’ lives names start with A? Lol). And it’s not even just their treatment of Aryan, but also Imlie has handled her breakup in a very different way than the FL of the other show.

Your answer is super hopeful!! I was also thinking the same thing with their names starting with "A"! Ugh!! Pleaseee let it be Aryan and Imlie end game! I wonder if the OG show had this same story and if Imlie and Aditya didnt get together then!

Anyways, does anyone have an idea if Imlie and Aryan will end up together? From a few comments above it seems like they do. Aryan seems least toxic compared to Aditya. But I have been scorned ever since Udariyaan is letting a non-toxic co-lead (Angad) go and having the original ML/FL come together...even though the ML cheated on the FL with her own sister....ergs. My heart can't take another show like that.

They got together in the end... That's why deluded ones chose to turn blind 🤢

And behno if trp increased... It's because of adilie seperation not arylie closeness... You must remember that.
