Then they should have released it then. Cricket fervor is always at peak when matches are going on. I would rather watch a holiday themed movie around Christmas.

Thats weird..if matches are going on..people may sit at home and see actual cricket than going to cinemas to see a movie based on cricket..

It doesn't have to be on the same time as tournament . Just closer to that time when people are more likely to be discussing cricket( I just don't think end of year is the ideal time for a cricket based movie)

Honestly the film looked dull going by the trailers

The last shot of the trailer with all the players was good …but it had a very been there, chak de kinda feel to it (kinda like how chichore felt like a lower budget 3 idiots…)

But the first day collection defines the stardom....rest of course depends on how good the movie is...especially for movies meant for classes...Too bad Deepu Rani helps only SRK and Ranbir open big....but not other actors...that is not nice Deepu...you need to help out everyone...
