Because jab woh gaya toh IPK band hi ho gaya. She also tried to call back ASR in IPK3 but that didn't work because the story had no meat and the actress, unlike Sanaya, couldn't act. She tries to recreate Arnav in some way or form in all her heroes.

I think Aditya, Kulfi's father, and the witch show hero were the departures from this.

Apart from all many sites are talking about imlie to marry

aryan in same mandap. Then what is the logic of that car tod promo😕😕? and if arylie are being forced to marry eachother their sweet and sour equation will be ruined. They might start being awkward with eachother.😣😣

I'd say the decision is already taken and hence Aryan entered. The PH will not spend that kind of money waiting for the lead actor to take a decision. Right now, they're retaining Gash and gradually ruining his character so that they can keep the back and forth happening between AdiLie while AryLie builds up on the sly in the background and by the time they turn full AryLie, people will be so exhausted of Adi and AdiLie that they won't care if Gash completely moves out. Though, this also leaves the scope open for giving Gash a meatier role in future by turning Aditya into a full fledged villian when Gash is done with his parallel projects.

If you've also observed Aryan's character, some initial scenes they gave him like the throwing water on Imlie, using the dupatta to tie her face, and such were not 'Aryan' at all. They are typical Gul scenes for her MLs and were thrown in as a marketing gimmick to attract Gul's typical trope loyalists, like a siren call saying, here we go again, are you in? While Aryan has the apparent makings of Gul's usual heroes, he's much more well-sketched without the unnecessary anger issues, an uber-high sense of self-importance and so on. So no, they're vwry clear where they want to go with AryLie, but will continue to use AdiLie as a carrot on and off to play with the audience.

Edit - The car smashing promo is another siren call for Gul's usual fans, again, serving the same purpose, because like people have already said earlier, in Gul's stories, smashing cars means the beginning of a love story. 😆

This is a smart strategy. This way they gain new viewers, attract others that may have left the show while retaining some of the older viewers who may still be hanging on to see if Adilie might make a comeback. Then when they’re satisfied they’ve grown the Arylie fan base enough, they’ll go full in. The gradual shift.

I don’t know what the online atmosphere was but I remember when in Balika Vadhu they brought Shiv in for Anandi it was a slow progression, moving away from Jagya. Or at least that’s how I remember it. I only watched that casually with my parents at the time so can’t remember for sure. But they’re one example that jumps straight to my mind where they switched the male lead up. I also see some parallels here.

i am very much same... i watch shows for a good character who can make me cry, laugh, swoon and drool at times.. and last i was like this for a hindi show was 1p years back.. and seeing one of the Articles abt Fahmaan that he is coming here i wanted to give it a try and then saw him making Omlie wash her car cause she put so much mitti pack on it.. i was like hell yaayy this man us made for my Imlie.. her alter ego who is as crazy as her.

@bold thats the only thing i am worried about. I jist wish, hope , pray that ASR will not be turned grey, black whatever as i dont want to hate him at all.

I think good actors can make you love their portrayal even while hating them. Like they’re so good at playing a dark character that while you hate everything their character is doing you’re still drawn in. I think FK might have the chops to do that.

That being said, I want our Aryan to be the hero here so I feel the same. I hope they don’t go too far with his grey side where we can’t see the side of him that we’ve fallen in love with.
