I have not posted on this forum in a long, long time. Ever since Aditya brought Malini back in to the home during the KC phase, I stopped watching and was just reading daily updates. Sick and tired of watching Imlie being treated like a obedient dog and being taken for granted all the time.
I felt safe posting in this thread because everywhere else I will probably have andas-tamatars thrown at me. I feel Aryan is a breath of fresh air compared to Aditya's sadu face and usse bhi sadu attitude. Finally her potential is being nurtured instead of constantly being entangled in the faltu sautan drama, Aryan keeps encouraging her to keep her eyes on her goal and not let anything deter her. If you ask me, he is the Krishna to Imlie's Arjun. Every time, she wants to fall down to her knees and put her weapons down, he picks her up and urges her to fight.
I mean can you imagine this 20 yr old alone in Delhi, with no family to support her, watching the "love of her life" getting married to her elder sister who is nothing short of evil. Backstabbed by her sister and now Adi joining Malini in twisting the knife a little more at every single opportunity. I cannot stand the people who are calling Imlie a flipper, who has suddenly changed attitude and suddenly started arguing with Adi. How vulnerable is this child woman right now? A girl who is doing her best to move forward instead of remaining stagnant at Aditya's doorstep, but at every step her sister plots and stabs her, while her husband continues to maintain said sister's innocence.
Does every woman need a man to help her rise, no. Could they have shown another woman giving her this same strength and tough love, yes. But I like this new development. I can't wait to watch Imlie spread her wings, Aryan is giving her every opportunity to do just that. Helping her pick herself up every time Adi and Malini deal her a blow. Little things: his not tolerating her attitude of hum aise hi hai, haath se noodles khayenge. No, you are not junglee, I am going to teach you how to use eating utensils and you better learn. Are his motives pure? Maybe not, but they are clearly more mixed now instead of simply dark. There is so much potential to this character and Aryan-Imlie's story. Yes, the romantic in me, wants her to finally find a partner who truly cares for her and wants her potential to blossom. Who values her instead of taking her for granted. Initially I was skeptical about the little OTT Narmada but I have grown to like her. She is just a sweetheart who genuinely cares for Imlie with no drama or expectations. I so hope the show continues to garner TRPs and they finish Aryan-Imlie's story. I still feel Gashmeer is an amazing actor. Having caught up on the post Aryan entry episodes, wow he has lost weight, has a sallow-grey look to him (makeup) and his voice cracks. He looks (intentionally) sick - like he is being eaten from inside. Kudos to GM. But dude, I cannot stand Adi and his temper tantrums these days. There is a limit to anyone's tolerance and I clapped my hands when Imlie gave it back to Adi and left him. This, coming for a former Adilie shipper. I am happy with this track and look forward to watching Imlie every day these days. I have probably abused the back button on watching last night's precap of Aryan and Imlie dancing. The pure unadulterated happiness on her face a stark contrast to the sorrow in every movement of the Awari dance. Cannot wait to watch them tonight.
P.S: Fahman does have nice hands š. Did you notice the scene in which he put the new reporter ID around her neck. Slow and gentle. Nicely done.
