LOVE this song. Honestly, like a comment on there for the vid says - AryLie started satisfying without that overhanging essence of doom which I always felt with AdiLie BUT seeing Aditya … I can’t help but think of all the AdiLie moments beautifully brought to life by good cinematography. Putting aside the character, Gashmeer is a good actor, so while I’ll appreciate his efforts it doesn’t mean I need to blindly support his butchered onscreen character. Adi’s potential and essence has been squandered and too skewed to become satisfying even if he does see the light šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

careful, Sundari, you’re edging into SS territory. I barely look outside the AT but I’m not touching that thread with a ten-foot pole 🤣

I WILL jump into the hand one after work bc I’ve been eyeing them from the first scene šŸ˜ I have a thing for masculine & ā€œwarmā€ hands (they have a personality, too) 🤣

The bold - this is the issue I have with ITV sometimes and the dialogue that develops between fans. You can appreciate an actor, you can appreciate their acting, but the character and their journey is important. Just because at one point a character was a good fit for another character doesn’t mean they still are. The other frustration I have is that just because two people look good together (or maybe are just good looking people in general) that they should be together regardless of the actions of the characters. I’m here for character journeys, the characters should drive the story, and that means sometimes characters drift apart or their stories change, paths diverge. I hate this - let’s let a man be the absolute worst, treat the female lead like absolute rubbish, then once he’s done all the awful things we’ll give him a bit of a redemption track, and then bring the leads back together again and people are totally okay with it because ā€œthe pretty people are together againā€ šŸ™„ Why?!?

Sorry - bit of a rant there.

I’m glad you’ll join in on the hand discussion later šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I have not posted on this forum in a long, long time. Ever since Aditya brought Malini back in to the home during the KC phase, I stopped watching and was just reading daily updates. Sick and tired of watching Imlie being treated like a obedient dog and being taken for granted all the time.

I felt safe posting in this thread because everywhere else I will probably have andas-tamatars thrown at me. I feel Aryan is a breath of fresh air compared to Aditya's sadu face and usse bhi sadu attitude. Finally her potential is being nurtured instead of constantly being entangled in the faltu sautan drama, Aryan keeps encouraging her to keep her eyes on her goal and not let anything deter her. If you ask me, he is the Krishna to Imlie's Arjun. Every time, she wants to fall down to her knees and put her weapons down, he picks her up and urges her to fight.

I mean can you imagine this 20 yr old alone in Delhi, with no family to support her, watching the "love of her life" getting married to her elder sister who is nothing short of evil. Backstabbed by her sister and now Adi joining Malini in twisting the knife a little more at every single opportunity. I cannot stand the people who are calling Imlie a flipper, who has suddenly changed attitude and suddenly started arguing with Adi. How vulnerable is this child woman right now? A girl who is doing her best to move forward instead of remaining stagnant at Aditya's doorstep, but at every step her sister plots and stabs her, while her husband continues to maintain said sister's innocence.

Does every woman need a man to help her rise, no. Could they have shown another woman giving her this same strength and tough love, yes. But I like this new development. I can't wait to watch Imlie spread her wings, Aryan is giving her every opportunity to do just that. Helping her pick herself up every time Adi and Malini deal her a blow. Little things: his not tolerating her attitude of hum aise hi hai, haath se noodles khayenge. No, you are not junglee, I am going to teach you how to use eating utensils and you better learn. Are his motives pure? Maybe not, but they are clearly more mixed now instead of simply dark. There is so much potential to this character and Aryan-Imlie's story. Yes, the romantic in me, wants her to finally find a partner who truly cares for her and wants her potential to blossom. Who values her instead of taking her for granted. Initially I was skeptical about the little OTT Narmada but I have grown to like her. She is just a sweetheart who genuinely cares for Imlie with no drama or expectations. I so hope the show continues to garner TRPs and they finish Aryan-Imlie's story. I still feel Gashmeer is an amazing actor. Having caught up on the post Aryan entry episodes, wow he has lost weight, has a sallow-grey look to him (makeup) and his voice cracks. He looks (intentionally) sick - like he is being eaten from inside. Kudos to GM. But dude, I cannot stand Adi and his temper tantrums these days. There is a limit to anyone's tolerance and I clapped my hands when Imlie gave it back to Adi and left him. This, coming for a former Adilie shipper. I am happy with this track and look forward to watching Imlie every day these days. I have probably abused the back button on watching last night's precap of Aryan and Imlie dancing. The pure unadulterated happiness on her face a stark contrast to the sorrow in every movement of the Awari dance. Cannot wait to watch them tonight.

P.S: Fahman does have nice hands šŸ˜‰. Did you notice the scene in which he put the new reporter ID around her neck. Slow and gentle. Nicely done.

Namuraad😔

@bold: Definitely! Keertan hi to kar raha hain. Imlie-Aryan ka kab se jaap kar raha hain, thode dino main takla hokar bhajan bhi gaane lage ga. 🤣🤣

Waise ek baat mind aayee thi, yeh Anu ka chamcha Dev kaha hain😳? Uski jayaz beti ki shaadi hain doosri baar same pati/ex-pati ke saath (kaun pagal phirse wahi galti karta hain?šŸ˜†šŸ¤£ )

One more thing, Aryan ko aaj kal Imlie ke aansoo ke wajah se AKT pe aur ghussa aa raha hain. What I am worried about is, kahi iss ghusse ki phire main Imlie se shaadi na karle.

Please, makers, don't ruin something so beautiful. 😭 I know I my be overthinking this but its ITV, inka koi bharosa nahi.

Musibat aur pagalkhana, isse log dur rehte hai. Chaturvedi duo ka kuch aisa hi hai, isiliye Dev dur hi rehta hai.🤣

No, even I have observed that it pains him to see her tears. And it just fuels his disgust and anger for Aditya. Honestly, Aryan should just let him be. He himself is alone to destroy himself.šŸ˜†

Oh, very symbolic vibes— tying a mangalsutra/jayamala— a queer softness to these scenes. Like wrapping that dupatta around her in front of ganpati. Gul does these "divinely ordained" clichĆ©s a lot.
