Soulmate fic prompts for anyone who wants to try:
Just a few that came to my head and others I read fics at some point on:
1. When their soulmate grips/holds them, it leaves a mark/imprint on their body
2. Everyone has a timer somewhere on their body that counts down until they meet their soulmate
3. Telepathically connected (like a sensate) wherever they are, able to speak and understand their language and actually 'be' where they are, like see, hear, feel (emotions included) everything the other person's experiencing, kind of like living in their head, and even talk to each other.
4. Impossible to tell lies to their soulmate (this would be great as a cop and thief AU, just a suggestion)
5. When they reach a certain age, a map forms in their head/ or appears on their skin pinpointing the location of their soulmate
6. Missing one of their senses (sight/hearing/touch/taste/smell) or one of the emotional senses (anger/fear/sorrow/joy/disgust/surprise) until they meet their soulmate
7. Be the only one who's able to 'save' the other person in some way - eg. control their bad impulses, talk sense into them where all others have failed, or get them to do something they've been refusing to do. (Again this would be great as a cop/criminal duo or a doctor/patient duo)
8. Ability to read their soulmate's thoughts
9. On first meeting their soulmate they become great at something they've previously sucked at and for the other person it has the opposite effect i.e. they begin to suck at something they've previously been great at.
10. Remember their previous life OR be able to foresee their next life on meeting their soulmate
You can try any of these for any fictional couple, or make up your own OCs!
