Well, the conversation is about her, she have all rights to know it! How can she not reach as shams called many names such as immature, attention seeker, drama queen etc. in LF . She knows that Shamita is badmouthing her that’s why she wanted to directly intersections. She never asked Karan to stop talking with Shams .
