My problem is not that he is believing Malini completely or he is now doubting Imlie's character.

For me both are explainable.

BUT BUT BUT, its what he should have done (but didn't do) to ease out Imlie's trauma even when he COMPLETELY believed Malini.

and what he shouldn't have done (but he is doing) even when he is doubting Imlie's character.

He always said focus on our love and when he believed for a sec that Imlie left that love ,he was so quick to leave it too..

It's Rupi's dialogue that "tere or Malini ke beech main kuch dayare banane padenge bhai" which filled me with disgust. And this finally broke my connection with Adi. If a husband needs to be reminded that he needs to maintain dayara with another woman who is having his child,I really don't what really to say about that husband.

@purple: It was just his acknowledgement that would have been sufficient for Imlie and open a path for him to find the truth and solution to all his problems but a man who find his truth and perception to be superior to everyone else, can never made to realize anybody else's truth of pain and suffering. He is not an empathetic man but portrays to be one. Now with his actual suffering he might be able to understand Imlie's pain. So far he still sees himself as victim and Imlie his perpetrator. It is just an example of him not being empathetic. He never actually understood what Imlie went through and his actions and reactions are proof of that bogus empathy that he has always shown. I thought going through the same things, he might ne able to understand but guess I was wrong🤷‍♀️

@bold: problematic and whatever love is what I call it. Someone it doesn't even look like love but pure zid for his toy. Anyway, A man who claims that he loves his wife more than she loves him is just a liar when he can't even be bothered to clear the MU. He is again and again asked to go and talk to Imlie. Like an ehsaan he is doing on Imlie by loving her.

Was waiting for his realisation of a husband and was not at all happy with what I was served. Imlie maintained those boundaries with pari but this man could not even be sorry after the kaand because he could use his victim card to manipulate Imlie's actions. If he is so sure about MC ki dudh se dhuli image, that he is not her victim and Imlie is being stupid then why doesn't he just accept that the act on JM night was consensual and ask Imlie to F off with her opinions. 🤷‍♀️

It is just a shame that all these things were brought up by his sister and he himself couldn't see his wife's pain. My only relief like I said before is that it came, even if it was for a while.

Ye apan kab se keh rahe aarti,we don't have problem with him trusting malini but problem is he never gave a thought to the things happening around him

I agree to all of your points but if we go by logic then nothing would have happened and Adi would not have even brought MC home. All three characters are extremists. So Adi ji being an extreme believer of MC should not be a surprise. If we say why he believes her without any rhyme and reason then Imlie too believed SK when he told her about MC's involvement in Adi ji's nde. She did not have any proof but trust that SK was not lying. The only difference was Imlie was trusting the right person and Adi ji wasn't. Adi is wrong to judge Imlie's every word by her involvement in SK's escape.

We can't compare Imlie trusting SK to Adi trusting Malini. In SK's case, there was no conflicting arguments from Adi. SK corroborated what Adi said and he added on the reasons of why he shot Adi. Malini has done many things against Imlie already, that Imlie had no reason to give Malini the benefit of the doubt. There is no arguments on whether SK shot Adi. the argument was on sending SK to jail, which Imlie agreed he should be, but before that Malini also should be send to jail because she is the instigator, and law wise, the bigger criminal than SK in the shooting.

I don't fault Imlie for letting SK escape because Imlie was questioned by the police when she went to file Adi's kidnapping because she is SK's daughter and AC had walked out of the police station even when she had proof of her kidnapping Adi on her phone just because she was high society. SK has always been considered a criminal by the law and the moment they arrest SK, they will not look beyond SK in that case and Malini will go unpunished.

All of the points mentioned have had one or the other reason that was enough for Adi to believe MC( going by the plot) so can't really comment on it. I am only trying to put a neutral pov.

@green: He states this thinking both him and MC are victims of Anu's ploy. My problem is with him not knowing about the rape. If he knew about it and still said all of this then yes I too wouldn't have cared. That is why I want him to know the truth about JM night before marrying to MC, so that as a viewer I don't see him as a victim. Marrying MC without his knowledge of being raped makes him a victim again and right now, rather than seeing him as a victim I want him to repent for his wrong doings against Imlie.

Imlie told him countless times that Malini raped him, it is just that he chose not to believe her. So, it is not that he is not aware of it and he is in the dark completely. He knows that Imlie believes Malini raped him, she has said it twice in front of the family too in her outburst. Imlie even told him that AC could have lied to save Malini. So he knows it is a possibility but he chooses not to believe it.

@red: Choice comes when a person is aware of his/ her rape status. Here when Adi ji deletes the video after accepting MC as a victim then his choice is automatically manipulated by MC. Adi ji in this case does not have a real choice as he does not know the whole truth. Thought and conflict would have been there if knew that he was raped( Anu's orchestration makes him and MC victims). When Adi ji does not know that he was raped and then how will that conflict arise? Makers never showed how he would have reacted with the baby news, had he known about his rape. He was made to believe that Anu was the only culprit and MC being a victim too and carrying the child makes her bechari in front of Adi ji and her 'suddenlyji' becomes a part of her mood swings and pregnancy tantrums.

As far as my understanding, even if Adi knew he was raped, he will not ask to abort the baby or refuse to take responsibility, even Ts.. they keep saying innocent baby, so they don't hold the baby responsible for what happened. AC was given a free pass and welcomed back to T house for the baby only, not for Malini.

@bold he knows the whole truth, he just chooses to not believe it, even after multiple warnings. In Adi's case fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I don’t know about others . I am waiting eagerly for the wedding day. Malini and Anu wants to see Imlie’s pain . Anu want Imlie to cover the function so both Ma and beti can watch Imlie’s pain watching her husband marrying Malini . I wanted to see who ended up feeling the pain of being cheated .😂
