I agree, I have seen almost all American survivor and right now started Australian Survivor too . And yes any one good at tasks never last in this game. But if you are good at being friendly or trust worthy and have an alliance strong then you can win it.

International Survivor is also in this format I believe. Where they also threw a googly in Survivor Tamil is having a random voting round during Top 6 to eliminate Aishwarya 😭 Unfortunately having sole survivor being selected this way leads to undeserving winners in those versions too. It’s amplified further here because there is past acquaintances between most contestants, leaving people like Aishwarya, Saran, Vanessa at a disadvantage in forming alliances to win. Hopefully if there is another season they fix many mistakes done.

I know Survivor format, and just like Tamil Survivor, they were season I found unfair and they were seasons I really liked. Maybe it was why I had been excited about Tamil survivor but having celebrities and the online wars gotten to a point everything seemed silly and I blame the production for most of it as well.

Lots of issues happen on the show but it is upto the editing to show what audience wants to see and I kind of felt like they edited it into a serial than a reality show.

This knockout challenge of last week was never in International challenge. This was introduced here because they had to many players left and needed to eliminate more than there required number. Because of the break three players took that is three weeks of show missing for them.

It always has been vote and Tribal council till top 3.

The game of Survivor is more along social connections than task based. So who was the top three in Tamil Survivor? , Viji, Vanessa and Saran or just Viji and Vanessa as top two when the jury voted.

The top 3 was Viji, Saran and Vanessa. No one voted for Vanessa. It was like Viji vs Saran.

That’s true, but also International Survivor has some changes in formats at times too but at least it is consistent throughout the season. Here they specially said no more tribal panchayat during finale week and then had one random one to cut down the numbers. Also Blue Box at random times to send out a person or other times to retain a person.
I read a theory online that Vasanth and Co. (now headed by Vijay Vasanth) is the main sponsor for this show, and it’s likely friendships between Viji and Vijay Vasanth is the likely reason why a winner was favoured. We will never know that. But the moment the top 3 was formed Viji was the expected (and deserved) winner. There was no way a Saran win would have gone down well considered how much his name was tarnished with that phone call matter (which some others conveniently escaped from). How the top 3 ended up being this though is where the show was unfair.

Yes.. even jury members voted for Nilan only not for her. Only Nandha voted with her name.

Then it was a smart move by Viji to bring Vanessa to the finals with her. But that also means she ended up backstabbing Uma who kept believing her and some promise made. Also in yesterday’s episode she specially says “I won’t select Vanessa, it’ll be one between Saran and Uma” 🤪
