She was crying and scolding Sona infact Sherlyn clearly told Sona that Preeta will come back and avenge Pihu's death. When whole LH gang waa waiting for Pihu Sherlyn was so scared and sad as she knew the truth whole time.

Eithere ways Mahesh and Sammy were useless. Mahesh only knows how to faint. Had he been female in show everyone would've assumed him pregnant every now and then🤣. Sammy wasn't that useless but every mission of his failed beacuse of villains although he could've a great storyline with Shristi as their chemistry was good but makers played dirty with them.
Sammy didn’t start out great but eventually he cemented his place. His mission didn’t fail because of villains, it failed EVERYTIME as Preeta & Shrishti would forewarn Prithlyn about the proofs🤣
