Hello everyone.

After my betrayal of ITV I am tuning to K-drama world. While the KYY days heard a lot about Boys Over Flowers and promised myself that whenever I start watching K-drama I'll start with this, but I happened to watch squid game first and was depressed for a long time. Then I watched Boys Over Flowers and it blown me away in a pleasant manner. Well for one passionate love story unlike here dekh k accha laga. Characters are pretty well-defined and even supporting characters are given screenspace. It's not great but it's good and its get better. Moreover there are many conflicting theories which can be discussed.

And fun part is only 25 epi are there 😃

So tell me if all of you are interested so that I can make a thread.

P.S I am badly missing the discussions we had had.

honestly telling season 2 bahut rare shows ka banta tha woh bhi kuch time pass ho jane ke baad. Aur mostly sequels aren't that good and even ruins the essence of original show. Ekta kapoor ke kitne sare hit shows and she has money also to produce another season but she selectively picks only nagin for sequels and that too with different actors.

Koi toh bahut bada and logical reason may be financially or logistically jo producers season 2 nahi banate hai even if their show is super successful.

So it's better to move on and cherish the good memories of first season.

Exactly. S2 of indian shows hardly work for some reason.

And it's not as if people aren't aware of Sickand's work. We have two shows as proof of Sickand's work ethics. He brings good content, loses interest in them midway and ruins them beyond recognition.

From where I see it, S2 of mhrw is a lose lose situation. The original team ruined it completely & don't think they have the vision to take it forward.

A new team will be out of sync with original characters and plot and will never be able to create the magic of the initial 100 episode.

So the new product will not match up to the original one, leaving all of us disappointed.

Why ruin the good memories trying to recreate the original work? As u said, let's cherish what we got.

I tried to watch but didn't feel connected

I watched boys over flower didn't like leads but side couple and for them I watch till end but they didn't get proper screen space and story 😔
