this hotel incident is not like JM night, this is exactly like the first morning after M came back to T house and Imlie found both Adi and Malini in bed. She was shocked but when both Adi and Malini tried to give explanations, her reply was “You don’t have to give explanations, I trust you both.” This hotel thing is more on the lines of that incident. Agreed Adi hates Aryan, but he knows and should trust Imlie.
And this is also exactly like the hut incident. If he finds Imlie and Aryan in an unlocked hotel room and assume the worst, then he would be exactly like those villagers who thought Adi and Imlie were having an affair seeing them in the hut. And I don’t know, maybe this is not the reason for divorce, maybe it is just the spark and the actual fire is something else. If this is the reason for divorce, that is a major butchering and like they say, the core of the story and Adi will be ruined. A misunderstanding that tied Adi and Imlie together, if he believes the same of Imlie then… so, i don’t think this is the reason for divorce.

I would add - Aryan putting a coat on Imlie when she is wet is nowhere near finding Adi and Malini in a bed. Imlie has put up with so much worse. All Adi supporters should think if they would stay with their husbands if they were like Adi? The man is not defendable. He needs to get his brains back...the way he is manipulated by Malini - yuck - even today when she invited herself and Adi could not refuse even for Imlie's sake. That was disgusting. They destroyed Adi to drag story and keep Malini relevant
