The thing with Umar..as far as I understood is that he always wanted a bond similar to Nishant-Pratik (he's mentioned this a long time ago as far as I know).

Sadly, it could have been KK if Teja wasn't in the equation. The others that he did try to get on with all left the house as soon as the bond grew. Vidhi, Ieeshan, Vishal. Afsana's situation was a bit different.

All 4 are pretty ardent supporters of him too outside the house.

I think he was already aware that Rajiv will always end up for Shamita for one way or the other. In the end, it's going to be for himself I guess (unless Rash does something, but I think all WC's will be kicked out soon enough).

In the end everyone will play for themself only.. Umar is not wrong in wanting to be someone's first priority and I used to think between him and Teja, Karan will always pick Teja but from the updates I have read, Karan actually emptied Teja's bag to help Umar..(correct me if Im wrong here) Now whatever the reason maybe, fact is he chose him over Teja in that moment..Did Umar not notice that ? Ofcourse he did! Will Karan always be Teja's priority.. I don't know..at the end of the day everyone has to protect their interest first before looking out for the person they are with.. I personally feel that too much is being read into the that conversation Umar had with Rashmi.. to me it only seemed like he is making sure Rashmi has his back citing example of TejRan.. Just trying to strengthen his alliances.. that's all he is doing.
