Unable to stand on her feet, dhara dropped to the ground. Raavi was the first to come and hold her up.
“Raavi kyun hone diya tune yeh” she sobbed harder
“Kisi ne bhi roka kyun nahi guambi ko”
“Dhara di, aap yeh kaise baatein kar rahi ho. Agar apko kuch hojata toh” she tried to make her understand
“Yeh kya har koi mujhe kuch hojata toh laga rakha hai. Agar mujhe kuch ho bhi jata toh kya hota? Tum sab ho na mere bacche ko samhalne ke liye”
“Hum sab zaroor hai apke bache keliye, lekin ek maa ki jagah koi nahi le sakta dhara di. Aur yeh baat mujhse behtar aur koi nahi jaan sakta. Haan maasi ne mera humesha khayal rakha hai, mujhe sab kuch diya hai. Lekin phir bhi woh meri maa nahi hai. Bin maa baab ke jeena kitna mushkil hota hai yeh main ache se jaanti hoon. Yeh sab jaanke bhi kya aap yeh chahte ho ki main gaumbi ko rok dun?” Raavi explained with tears
Almost everyone was in tears, behind the ever smiling face was a lot of hurt and suppressed emotions. Shiva now understood why Raavi was supporting Gaumbi’s decision.
“Aur dhara di, this is not the end of the world. Science aur technology itni bad gayi hai ki anything is possible. Agar apko medically kuch nahi karwana hai toh aap adoption bhi try kar sakti hai. Aise kitne bache hai jinke paas maa baap nahi hai. Aap unn masoom bachon ko ek behtar zindagi de sakte hai” she suggested
Suman always had an othrodox thinking or rather was wired that way. But listening to Raavi speak today made her look at things from a different perspective. Now that Dhara doesn't have a child of her own, adoption was definitely something they could look into.
Noticing everyone blankly staring at Raavi, she decides to leave
“I am sorry, agar maine kuch zyada bol diya tho” she added before quickly turning to leave to her room
“Ayy markundi gay rukh” suman said with a certain warmth in her voice
“Ek ladki ke liye uske apne maa ke baad uski saas aati hai. Aur tu bachpan se issi ghar ki ladki hai. Dubara kabhi yeh mat samajhna ki teri maa nahi hai. Haan mein hoon maha saas, aur tujhe khoob dhantungi bhi aur do chaar muft ke taane bhi dhungi. Lekin utna hi pyaar bhi karunfi tujhse.” she said and strolled back to her room.
