As much as there's double standard, it's not as if papa sandhu has forgotten jasmine. He still considers her his daughter... But the thing is, she's so outrageously cartoonishly evil. Fateh was always humble and guilty in front of sandhus after EMA exposure. They could see his embarrassment clearly after what he did to tejo. He spoke with them with due respect. But that doesn't mean they forgave him for destroying tejo's life but they were also aware that he was still guilty of his deeds.

Jasmin on the other hand still misbehaved . Her nonstop crap in front of tejo and family was horrible and unbearable especially her taunts to tejo.

Fateh cheated his best friend and wife but jasmin cheated her own blood related sister. Made a mockery of her own family. So her being in their bad books was higher than fateh

Rupi was also upset with fateh today but at the same time, he could see his honesty . That guy repented his mistake from the bottom of his heart. Rupi was not convinced with jasmin asking for forgiveness. He could see it as an act of pretense

Tbh , i felt sorry for her today. But it's her fruit of karma that she has to accept.

The only difference is fateh accepted that he has to sow his seeds but jasmin didn't. She is still vengeful.

She can never accept her wrong doings and likes to put blame on others. That's her major drawback and that's why she receives hatred from people around her.

The problem is she is inserted in between fatejo and tejang scenes. So can't chop her off.

Dubeyji wants everyone to tolerate her so she can be nominated for best villain award from colours.

Even when he doubted tejo with buzzo he kept quiet and took on all the blame in front of sandhus post ema revelation. Fateh has been confused, guilty from the beginning.

Jasmine doesn't have that, somehow she literally believes she's right in everything. Like her dialogue today didn't make sense at all... Main buri bankar dikhaungi. Sis you hired a man to rape and kidnap your own sister. You can't stoop any lower.

In fateh's case he chose his punishment himself. Kal tak he's son of a rich family, even siblings would have forgiven him had he told them that he didn't actually gotten married, and today he's nothing. He even spent every penny already... No one can honestly say that he's not repenting or honest or giving himself any excuse.
