As someone who loves ethnic and western attire equally, man our is sooo OTT. Our brides could give competition to a christmas tree. I believe there's no need to wear clothes because there's too much jewelry... it's even hard to see the bride's face as you remember.

Besides jewelry is a status symbol in desi household, I know families which expect you to wear entire sets in daily lives.

I agree. I love Indian wear, especially Indian bridal wear, be it North or South, but some families unnecessarily drench their brides in jewelry and clothing. That being said, Jasmine (or should I say the stylist) has done no favors to her style. Even her wedding look was so tacky and OTT

Jasmine is the definition of OTT. Tbh the stylist is really horrible and is intent on dressing the leads in worst way possible. Tejo's suits are generally so ill fitted... It feels like she's wearing someone else's wardrobe.
