Umar's on this show only because he's Asim's brother. Simba was 100% right when he pointed this out. Asim even came to promote him in the opening episode. Shamita on the other hand may have got her 1st Bollywood break because she's Shilpa's sister. However, her first stint in Big Boss was because she was an actress and same goes for her next stints. Is she the only one here making a 3rd appearance? Devoleena and Rakhi too are here for the 3rd time. Rashmi making a 2nd one. Salman does go soft on her but that's the case with pretty much most contestants this season barring Pratik and Afsana no one really has been bashed left, right and centre. Salman had a soft corner for Simba too. People say she's being favoured as her close ones have been brought into the house. Neha was brought in for Pratik angle and Rajeev for Ishan's and the one who actually came for her didn't even last a week. Also, he was an ex contestant from OTT. Who's not being favoured this season? Be it Viacom products Tejasswi and Karan or other nepotism product Umar. Even Jay got so much feedback. People got violent and yet no punishment except for Simba. So in my opinion Shamita gets way too much flak when others have had their share of favouritism too.

1. She clearly has blatant favoritism. From first set of wcs to one week vacation.
2. she has literally got zero criticism in all wkv so far

3. In fact sallu went after devo for going after her when fact is Rakhi and Ritesh were far more personal on Tejran.
4. This was preceded by her thinking she is having an offline convo with sallu asking him questions never seen in any season before for any contestant

5. Since she was not vip not only was it dissolved but in no season has there been a concept of top 5 being chosen by press — another maneuver to protect her . Because in that live voting task she was sure to lose if she was put up as a participant in that task based on voting and perhaps might not even have survived the coffin eviction. So game designs all being plotted by makers to secure her place in house.

Now I don’t know the modern day definition of nepotism but I am sure being a celebrity isn’t one merely because they have worked for Viacom before….

So if shammo gets flak from Juntaa. Totally well deserved as she only gets entitlements and privileges from BB…. If anything this has automatically ensured that she will only win if BB does away with voting all together cuz she ain’t gonna win by votes as all polls so far have clearly indicated ….

The main issue with Umar is that he is boring . Shamita is a pretentious ass but she manages to be interesting in that you can at least laugh at her.

Umar has done a few music videos and he had 300k followers on Instagram when he entered the show, Asim Riaz didn't even have 10k followers when he came on BB13, It was Umar who fought for his brother and created a fan army for Asim Riaz, everyone who was active during BB13 will tell you how Umar had to lose his job because Siddharth fans filed a complaint in his hospital, he kept supporting his brother, people know him from BB13, There have been 100s of contestants and their 100s of family members, all of them don't get an entry in BB house

2 Shamita was kept in Top 5 after she got a good vacation and got to watch all episodes, reentered the show on WKV and got to interrogate her fellow contestants where Umar was kept in bottom 6 when anyone who knows social media knows that Umar is easily in Top 2 or Top 3 contestants

3 Shamita Shetty gets support from Channel/Producer and Salman himself, Umar Riaz is surviving on his own, Shamita doesn't even get more than 5% votes on YT polls where Umar Riaz wins with 38% (Manu Punjabi's poll)

4) Umar Riaz excels in every task and Shamita gets a proxy for every task

Don't find anything against him so let's bring his brother in discussion

Everyone got entry in Bigg boss through someone, these people are not selected through an entrance test, Nepotism or Favoritism comes in play when they get UNDUE ADVANTAGE of something, Umar is actually working very hard to survive in the show
