Ranbir's Anger & Pride

It seems that Ranbir has the best of intentions, but he always gets carried away in his anger and pride. He seems to want to go against Rekha, but in the end, ends up hurting the people around him. Even after the funeral he seemed to get angry again with Rekha for suggesting that they should let Lajjo stay with her Mama & Mami. It feels likes he keep self-sabotaging himself.
