And, ufff, the banter between Pritam and Kamli that follows next is superb 🤣

Meanwhile Kamli gets suspicious and asked him, kya milaya hai isme aapne, choohe maarne ki dawa ya cockroach maarne ki dawa. 😆🤣

The way Pritam was trying to make Amrita taste his halwa was shooo sweet. 😳

Pritam (murmuring) - subah toh bahut mann tha khane ka, banakar laya hu toh nakhre dekho madam ke.

Their part was such a fun filled one. Loved Nitin-Monty teasing him.

But the highlight of this chapter for me is the last portion of it ❤️

Our Pritam Pyaare got caught. 😆

Amrita-Aapko jhooth bhi thik se bolna nahi aata. Vese halwa bahut tasty tha. Lagta hai aapne bahut pyaar se banaya tha... She paused a little... Apne doston k liye.

In this one sentence Amrita gave him so many thinks. From the time he saw her eat his halwa he was craving to know how was it for her. All the other family members ate it but still he ONLY wanted to know how she found it and he did got his answer 🥳

She loved it and not just that, she understood that he made it with his love ❤️

She gave so much to him in that moment. Loved the way you wrote it. Beautifully done ❤️👏

But the best part of this chapter, the last few lines.. ❤️❤️❤️

Amrita-Kaun hai aap? Ek paheli si bann gye hai jbse meri.. I mean humari zindagi me aaye hain. Sochti hu kbhi ye paheli suljhegi bhi ki nahi? She looked at him as if asking him to answer.

"Main ek paheli hu ya nahi ye baad ki baat hai, sawaal toh ye hai ki aap kyu is paheli ko suljhaana chahti hain?he replied with a small smile on his face.

For her, Its seems that even words have refused to answer his question.

She doesn't even know that she has started feeling something for him. And the best part he got to get a lil hint about it. These last few lines were just the best part of the whole chapter. Finally it's happening. ❤️

If Pritam gets a hint that she is feeling something for him too he will accept his own feelings too 😳⭐️

Part 6b

Pritam was trying to sleep but it was far away from his eyes.Amrita's words, "kya aapko kabhi kisi se pyaar nahi hua?" were disturbing him . Slowly the images of his past began to surface in his mind.
Flashback

Fb 1- Pritam(in his late teens) was running towards his house with a guitar on his back. An old lady was sitting in the hall.
Pritam-Daadi music academy me mera selection ho gya. Aap please Papa se baat krna. Music is my life daadi.Just then, he saw a news on tv of terrorist attack in Mumbai killing hundreds of people including his parents.He let the guitar slip down from his back and it broke into pieces,just like his life has, just now.
Fb 2. Few years later,
Daadi while cooking, Bas beta ab bahut ho gya, ab mujhse aur ye ghar nahi sambhala jaata.Tu jaldi se is ghar ko sambhaalne waali le aa. Duniya se jaane se pehle main apni bahu ka muh dekhkar jaana chahti hu.
Pritam(holding her hand) - daadi aapko kuch nahi honey doonga main. Aur mujhe abhi shaadi nahi karni. Abhi toh mera career shuru hua hai.
Fb 3.few days later,
Daadi-Pritam beta aaj Sharma ji ki beti ka reception hai.
Pritam-haan toh
Daadi-Toh ye ki hume vhan jaana hai tere liye ladki dekhne.
Pritam-kya matlab! Aapne mere liye ladki pasand kar li, vo bhi mujhse bina pooche. Maine kaha tha aapse mere paas is sab k liye.....
Daadi-jaanti hu tere paas time nahi hai, tera career hai vgerah vgerah.. Or haan maine koi ladki pasand nahi ki, shaadi vyah ka maahoul hai, aise mein hi toh naye rishtey judte hai. Unke itne saare rishtedaar aayenge, koi na koi toh shaadi layak hogi hi. Aur phir tujhe mandap mein baithne ko thodi keh rahi hu, bas ladki hi toh dekhni hai.
Pritam - ohh.. hoo.. Daadi...
Mujhe aur kuch nahi sun naq, bas tu aa raha hai. Shaam ko aath baje ka function hai. Jldi ghar aa jaana.
Fb 4.Evening at party venue.
Pritam and Daadi were welcomed by the hosts.
Mrs. Sharma - Namaste Gayatri ji, bas aap hi ka intzaar ho rha tha. Pritam beta kaise ho? Aajkal milte hi nahi.
Pritam - ji vo aajkal kaam me zara busy rehta hu.
Mrs. Sharma- beta ye kaam vaam toh chalta rahega. Shaadi ki umar ho gyi hai, jldi se koi achi si ladki dekhkar humara bhi muh meetha karwao. Gayatri ji kab tak ghar ka saara bojh uthaengi. Unki umar ho chali hai, unhe bhi aaram ka mauka do. He just smiled in response.
He got a call then and came out of the banquet hall. He didn't want to go back after being done with the call, so he decided to have a look at the garden area which was beautifully lit with decorative lights. Lavenders and white roses were adding extra charm to the ambience. He moved further and saw a girl dressed in pink churidaar-kurta,with long curly tresses, accessoried with simple yet elegant jewellery, was seated on the chair .She was one hell of a beauty and innocence, which he always desired in his life partner.
Next moment all the lights got switched off and the focus light was shifted on that particular chair. She started singing and everyone was lost in her melodious voice.
Tinka tinka zara zara hai roshni se jaise bhara...
Har dil mein armaan hotey toh hain...
Bas koi... Samjhe.. Zaraa...
He was so lost in her that he didn't realise for how long he was absorbing her beauty. The sound of applause by the audience seated in front of her and vibration of his phone brought him out of his reverie.
His grandmother had called him to enquire where he has disappeared leaving her alone in the party. He told her to wait as he will be reaching there shortly.
He turned back to find that the girl has left. He enquired about her but all his efforts were in vain as no one knows her. He enquired at the reception and all he got to know that she is a budding singer and a music artist who is looking for a break .He tried hard but couldn't find anything about her.
Fb 5.few months later,
Pritam, Nitin and Monty are sitting in his room. Nitin - Bhai ab kab tak aise devdas bana firega?
Monty-haan bhai itna bada shehar hai, kahan kahan nahi dhoondha usey. Yhan ki hoti toh ab tak mil jaati, shyd bahar se aai hogi apna career banane. Bhool jaa usey.
Pritam-nahi bhool sakta, sirf aakhon mein nahi mere dil mein bas gyi hai vo.
THUD....... Hearing this sound the trio ran towards the hall and found that daadi has collapsed on the floor.
The doctor advised complete bed rest for her as she was having a high blood pressure coz of which she fainted. He finally decided to get married to a girl of her choice.
After some days, on being suggested by a match maker, they decided to meet the Mallik family. Vishakha Mallik, the eldest daughter was the prospective bride.
Pritam and his grandmother reached her house and were welcomed by her mother. Vishakha came to meet them. Both were asked to have a conversation separately before proceeding things ahead. They were about to initiate the talk when Nitin called him and he excused himself and came out in open.He reached the garden area while talking and was surprised to see that girl, in the same pink dress, she was wearing the other day. Initially he thought he was hallucinating but when he get closer, he realised she was the same girl. She was planting seeds in various pots and her hands as well as her cheeks were caked with mud, while trying to remove the hair strands that were disturbing her job.
Pritam came nearer to her and sat beside her and removed the strands. She simply said, Thank you without even looking up. He then asked her to gain her attention.
Pritam-Gardening bhi aapki hobby hai music k saath saath?
Girl-Music and gardening mera passion hai. I love creating life and music, music toh I breathe! She said with excitement which vanished the very next moment when she look up and saw him.She stood up immediately, kaun hai aap or yhan mere ghar me kaise chale aaye. Dino kaka, Shambhu, she called out her house help.
Pritam - ohhh toh yeh aapka ghar hai.
Girl-Maa, Dii.... Dekhiye humare ghar me koi ghus aaya hai.
Meanwhile Vishakha came out in the hall. All of them ran towards the garden.
Vishakha's mother-Kya baat hai beta, aise chilla kyu rahi ho?
Girl-ye aadmi pta nahi kaise ghar k ander aa gya hai. Aapko pta hai aajkal kitne robbery or murder cases ho rhe hain.
Pritam smiled at her ignorance and announced,
Daadi ye vhi ladki hai jiske baare me maine aapko btaya tha or jise main itne waqt se dhoondh rha tha.
Daadi - Ye tu kya keh rha hai beta, aur ye ladki kaun hai?
Vishakha's mother-ye Nikita hai is ghar ki choti beti,Vishakha ki choti behen.
Vishakha(bitterly ) - choti sauteli behen, she uttered slowly but audible enough for everyone.
Pritam-I am sorry Vishakha ji, main is rishtey ki baat ko aagey nahi badhana chahta.
Vishakha - aap aur Nikita pehle se hi ek doosre ko jaante hai?
Nikita-Nai Di, main inhe nahi jaanti, aaj pehli baar hi inse mili hu.
Pritam-magar main inse mil chuka hu, music function me peformance dekha tha inka, bahut acha gaati hain aap.
Nikita - ji shukriya.
Pritam - Will you marry me, he asked suddenly without any hesitation, I promise main aapko hamesha khush rakhunga.
Nikita was stunned with this sudden proposal. She needed some time to process what has happened just now. "mujhe abhi shaadi nahi karni" . Aur main toh aapko jaanti bhi nahi, naa aap mujhe jaante hai. Shaadi jaisa faisla koi achanak aise kaise le skta hai.
Pritam - Main aapki situation samajh sakta hu, bas ek request hai aapse, ho sake toh is baare mein sochiyega zaroor. Mujhe intzaar rahega......
He got up, startled by the noise of alarm, with sweat beads shining on his forehead.

Morning

Pritam left Sakhuja house in the early hours and reached the family court long before the hearing, that was going to happen in the afternoon. He doesn't want to miss the opportunity to have a small glimpse of his child after so many days or months, he didn't even remember.
Few hours later he saw Mansoor uncle, Nitin and Monty coming towards him.
Mansoor uncle- Pritam, itni jldi aa gye? Samajh gya apne bache ki jhalak dekhne ko betaab ho na?He nodded yes. Dua karta hu aaj tumhari har pareshaani ka aant ho jye.
A car stopped behind them and a lady in her mid thirties with long curly hairs and striking features stepped down and walked up towards them.
Mansoor uncle-Pritam chalo ab chalte hai hearing ka time ho gya hai. They were leaving when a voice of that woman stopped them.
Itni bhi kya jldi hai Pritam Chaudhary ki humse mile bina hi yhan se bhaag rhe ho, he turned around and saw her. Anger burst out in his veins seeing her. She is none other than Vishakha who has filed a custody case against him accusing him of being an irresponsible parent to her deceased sister 's child.
He clenched his fist in anger but Nitin stopped him and advised him not to get enraged as this might affects the decision of the hearing.
Nitin - Pritam ye tujhe uksane aayi hai, taaki tu kuch galti kar baithe or faisla iske haq me ho jae. Chal bhai ander chalte hai, Amit tera intzaar kar rha hoga.
All of them left and outside the courtroom, He saw his son, standing with a caretake of childcare home. A storm of emotions erupted in him and he ran and hugged the child, he hugged him back. He kissed his forehead and assured him that now he's gonna be with him forever.
The court decided to give the custody to Pritam on the grounds that there was no specific evidence, that could prove his negligence as a parent.
They all celebrated the victory outside the court ignoring Vishakha's words that she is not gonna sit quietly. Main itni aasani se haar nahi manugi Pritam Choudhary, main vapas aaungi teri khushiyaan tujhse cheen ne k liye, she spilled the poison before leaving.
Mansoor Uncle - Pritam ghar le jaa isey, thak gya hai ye bahut.
Pritam (worriedly) - Par main Sakhuja parivaar se kya kahunga iske baare me?
Mansoor Uncle - Sach. Sache log hain sirf sach se hi jeet sakta hai tu unhe.
Ji, Thank you Mansoor uncle aaj sirf aapki vajah se ye mumkin ho paaya hai, he said before leaving with his happiness towards a new ray of light.
Mansoor Uncle to himself - Pritam, Sakhuja parivaar mein Amrit behta hai pyaar ka jo tumhari zindagi se nafrat k Vish ko nikaal bahar phekega, isliye toh vo parivaar chuna hai maine tumhare liye.
Pritam stopped his bike in front of the Sakhuja's gate.
Pritam(pointing towards the house) - dekho beta, ye.. hai aapke Papa ka naya ghar. Aaj se tum Papa k saath yhin rahogey.
He carefully made Amit stand on the ground. He told him not to move from here till he parks his bike.But curious kid, began to move towards Sakhuja house, he pushed the door open as it was not closed and began to walk inside. Slowly with his tiny steps he move forward.
Amrita who was sitting on the swing,totally immersed in a book didn't realise that a little kid was staring at her.He was looking at her lovingly and was smiling.Nimmo came outside to tell Amrita to have some rest as its been hours since she was reading. But the little kid caught her attention and she asked, "Ye bacha kiska hai or yhan kya kar rha hai?"
Amrita(looking up in shock) - Mummy ji ye bacha, ye yhan kab aaya! Mujhe toh pta hi nahi chala.
Nimmo - beta kaun ho tum kaha se aaye ho?
Amrita-beta tumhare mummy papa kahan hai. Kahin tum kho toh nahi gye ho?
Beeji, dadaji,Kamli and Soni came outside and saw the kid. He was not answering anything.
Meanwhile Pritam, after parking his bike, finds out that Amit was not there. He panicked and started looking for him all around. He saw that the main door was open, so he rushed inside and was relieved to see Amit there.
Dadaji- Arey ye kiska bacha hai, yhan kaise aaya. Iske gharwaale isey dhoondh rahe hongey. Jaa Kamli bahar jaa kar dekh kar aa koi dhoondh toh nahi rha isey.
Pritam (loudly) - koi nahi dhoondh raha hai isey. Main hu iske saath. He rushed and the next moment Amit was in his arms.
Pritam to Amit-beta aap thik toh ho na,maine kaha tha aapko mera wait karne k liye. Aap kyu nahi ruke. The boy turned to his shoulders and hugged him tightly and he too reciprocates. He then looked at Sakhuja's questioning faces.
Dadaji came forward and asked him, Pritam puttar, kiska bacha hai ye aur tu isey yhan kyu laaya hai?
He gulped down and replied, "Mera Bacha hai ye".
Everyone was shocked.
Dadaji - par tune toh kaha tha ki....
Pritam - dekhiye main aap sab k sabhi sawalon ka jawab zaroor doonga. Magar abhi mujhe jaane dijiye, ye bahut thak gya hai, isey aaram ki zaroorat hai and without waiting for the reply he bagan to climb the stairs. Amrita noticed that the boy was looking at her without even blinking for once.She was getting affectionate towards the kid.
At night, all the Sakhuja's went to sleep after deciding that tomorrow they will ask Pritam about the child, but Amrita was restless as the boy's innocent charm was not leaving her mind and she thought,
Itne akdu insaan ka itna pyaara bacha, kuch ajeeb lag rha hai. Aur iski maa kahan hai?
Pritam was sleeping in his room. He was hugging Amit tightly, close to his chest as if never gonna leave him. A knock on the door startled him and he wondered as to who might have come at this hour. He slowly got up from the bed, carefully holding Amit in his arms, opened the door and saw Amrita with a glass of milk.
Amrita - Sorry vo is waqt aapko disturb kiya. Main bache k liye ye doodh lekar aayi thi, maine dekha ki jabse aap vapas aaye hain, apne kamre se bahar hi nahi nikle toh mujhe lga ki bache k liye zaroori cheezey aap laaye bhi hongey ya nahi. Isliye ye lekar aayi.
Pritam - Thanks but ye toh abhi so gya hai or vese khana khila diya tha maine isey. Kal se iski saari cheezon ka dhyaan rakhunga.
Amrita-Abhi main ye laayi hu toh rakh lijiye subah pila dijiyega garam karke. Aap jab saaman layenge tab layenge.
Pritam - Thik hai and took the glass from her,and was waiting for her to leave.
Amrita began to leave but she turned around and asked him,
Bache ka naam kya hai?
Amit, he replied hugging him more tightly which was noticed by Amrita.
Amrita- Ye so gya hai toh aap isey aaram se bed par kyu nahi sula dete? Aap aise......
Pritam (emotionally) - iski mehak ko mehsoos karna chahta hu, bahut dino baad mila hai ye mujhe. Iski khushboo ko apne andar samaana chahta hu, iski ek ek dhadkan ko sun na chahta hu, iski garmahat se apne ander k dard ko pighlana chahta hu. Bahut intzaar kiya hai is pal ka, isey ab kisi b kimaat par khud se judaa nahi honey doonga and tears began to flow from his eyes. He realised his state and turned around, Bahut der ho gyi hai aap jaakar so jaaiye, saying so, he shut the door.
Amrita was shocked to see this side of him which she never expected, Kitna pyaar karta hai ye apne bache se. Bahut kismatwaala hai ye bacha jise apne pita ka itnaa pyaar naseeb hoga. Par ye kis dard ki baat kar rha tha aur is bache ki maa kahan hai, she thought to herself.
Amrita-Kal ki subah shyd in sab sawalon ka jawab lekar aaye.
Precap - Aaj papa poora din sirf aapke saath spend karenge.
Beeji Amrita ko labor pain shuru ho gya hai, jldi aaiye.

Loved, loved, loved this chapter. Though there's very less of AmriTam but the back story is really, really beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

Normally as every teens are Pritam was such a carefree, happy kid wanting to follow his passion, but the tragedy that strike his life was so heartbreaking. To lose both the parents in that tender age matured him fast 🥺💔😭

(Just a confusion what did he choose to become after his parents death? Is he an IPS officer here too? Due to terrorist attack he lost his parents so my assumption is that he is an IPS officer, but still if you could clarify)

Trust me, I will tell you honestly, when in the flashback Nikita was singing and Pritam was mesmerized by her beauty I assumed you are describing Vishakha and I almost had a heart attack 🤣

Vishakha and innocence doesn't go along together 😳

But that's the beauty of her character and Akansha is slaying this role.)

I will give it Pritam, he so smoothly and honestly told Vishakha that he loves Nikita. He basically didn't hurt her and anyone in that matter. He very maturely and harmlessly handled the whole situation. 👏👏❤️❤️

Well, well, well everything was beautiful. But for me the best part of this chapter is when Amit reaches the Sakhuja house. ❤️❤️❤️

He instantly bonded with Amrita. ❤️❤️

They didn't share any words, nothing, but still they bonded, as if they were connected from before, maybe from a different lifetime. Amrita was meant to be his mother. They were meant to be in each others lives. This was magical

Amrita noticed that the boy was looking at her without even blinking for once.She was getting affectionate towards the kid. ❤️❤️❤️

This to a new beginning, that beginning which was meant to be

P.S. you know the USP of this story is it's based on our favourite show. That's why it's so special to me. The characters and almost everything is based on the show. It connects so well. And as you watch the show regularly you just know the characters in and out. It shows in the way you write them + you include some best signature scenes from the show too (statue scene, Pritam-Kamli banter, Amrita doing jasoosi on Pritam). That makes this story so special, enjoyable and relatable and when I read I can perfectly imagine Hasan and Esha playing those scenes in my mind. I loveeee this so much because of that.
