But why is Wattpad getting insulted ?

Wattpad isn't being insulted... It's just that the users there are usually younger folks, lots of preteens and early teens. So their understanding of things and writing reflects that. And it's also super hard to search for the rarer good fics on Wattpad because of the user interface and minimal search filters unless you get lucky or you already know the author or story title.

So yeah, the quality of writing is pretty PS level on Wattpad. 😆

I totally agree that finding good content on Wattpad is difficult but they actually have a pretty good content in general.

Honestly I like Wattpad

I am not fan of ff over there

I have read mostly of Manan and Shraman and few of Riansh bcoz when they spoilt Vansh and whitewashed him I was annoyed and Wattpad writers wrote some amazing content on that track.

But I like Wattpad

There are some really talented writers, amazing books but it is just u need to choose good content.

I have even recommended here some of the best stories I have read there.

It's just a general thing I've noticed over multiple fandoms. I find AO3 and FFN to be better when it comes to book based fanfiction and IF or Tumblr blogs for ITV fanfiction.

I do read on Wattpad as well, but only when there's a lack of stories elsewhere. But that's mostly because I find the searching process tiring.... 😆
