My wishlist -waiting for things that'll never happen.

Hello everyone! Today is the last day of this show. KRPKAB is my beloved show that I will cherish forever. I know S3 has its issues but I'm a basic fool who will watch anything that has Dev and Sona in it. And I know that right now I'm saying if they make S4 I'll not watch it, but I know deep down that I damn well will watch it 😂🙈

But as I've watched the show I have had small wishes that I hoped would happen. But they never did. So today as we say goodbye to S3 I thought we should discuss all the things that we wished had happened.

I'll start,

> I wanted the fact that GKB burned down her house to come out.

> I wanted Sonakshi to tell Dev about Vikki harrassing her. Not just after they got together but about before too.

> I wanted Dev to say sorry for getting Sona fired

> I wanted Dev to find out that Ishwari got slapped on purpose when she was working in that house

> I still wish Dev brought the Jhula back to their room

> I wish Sona would apologise/or atleast think in her mind that she was wrong for interfering during the whole Neha Ranveer thing

> I wish Ishwari learnt to love Sonakshi without the incentive of a grandchild (that is a very big ask I know )

> I wish the Bose family did not take Elena back so easily, I was very disappointed with her turning her back on them.

> I wish they had an actual talk about the prenup, not just forget it completely.

> I wish Dev apologied for being so rude post leap (I did not understand what right he had to behave that way?)

> I wish Sonakshi wasn't the one who had to prove her love to Dev after leap. Because according to me she was wronged the most. I wouldn't have minded Sonakshi proposing but this whole I'm sorry thing I was not onboard with.

>I wish Dev wanting to put Sonakshi first during Shubh pregnancy wasn't ridiculed.

>I wish they got to go to Paris!!🥺🥺

My biggest wish was to see bejoy n dev sharing good bond. Dev seeing bejoy as his own father as he had lost his father at young age.

And definitely ask forgiveness from boses for hurting them.

Current biggest wish is reverse ayush track. Just make soha as their biological daughter. Infront of this other wishes I can overlook..😆

In my cannon Ayush is just someone they adopt because his parents are no more. He is not their bio kid. Suhana is and will always be the Sun in their life that gave them so much happiness.

Nice thread. With Sanjana in S3, a "villain" with Zero expressions in this show my expectations are really rock bottom. But for S1 I have a list :)

1. Dev and Sona need to talk, like discuss real problems. This forced romance just doesn't cut it for me. Whenever Dev has screwed up he goes back to these romantic gestures which really irk me. Communication is key which is missing

They should ideally have had counseling before the reconciliation, to solve the key issue, Ishwaris interference.

2. At times this show was about who loves Dev the most? He was a great guy in S1 pre leap strictly, people empathized with him. But down the line, it was all about some glorification for Dev and Ishwari.

However, there were instances where people should have apologized to him, like Mamiji but he was made to do the same. He should have apologized to Sona for those mean comments about feminism post leap. But anyway that was a part of Dev mahaan.

3. Dev did not care for the Bose family as much as Sonakshi did for Ishwari. A simple scene of him checking on them during the leap would have done wonders😊

4. Ishwari was always right in the end, Dev was the one who went and made peace with her, even after being wronged. The guy suffered a lot due to her actions, but ultimately it is a TV trope, moms can do no wrong😭

5. Sona didn't learn her lesson as well. Maybe it was insecurity wrt to Dev, she found this unending urge to please Ishwari in an attempt to remain in the Dixit household. There really wasn’t much else wrong with her but there were three people in the marriage, no thanks to Dev and Sona.

6. The ultimate point was a common story of flawed individuals, people don't suddenly conceive two children after being declared almost infertile, they don't ever opt of divorce, remarriage isn't the end of the world, and many more. Those are larger issues though.

Had Ishwari really taken in Sona and Suhana (as an adopted not a biological child of Dev) that would have been some real progress. But too much to expect from a TV show anyway.

7. Something offscreen, silence is golden. Those in the industry for 12 years or more should realize that. Fans are why you are successful, the blind fan clubs on social media may be good for your ego but will also lead to your downfall. Intellectual honesty is extremely important. Agree with everything you said! Especially that Dev never even checked up on her. Post leap Dev I don't like as much

Also most definitely Ishwari and her interference should have been discussed.

I wanted Suhana to ask Dev, why did you never check on my mom?

I think they did get to Paris eventually. In season 3, Dev was talking about what he did for Sona and she replies, "Aisa lag raha hai ki account rakh rahe ho ki 10 saal mai kya kya Kiya hai... 5 foreign trips and..."

If they went on international trip 5 times (God knows when, because the timeline is screwed up), I'm sure one of them would be Paris.

Also I agree with you; if they ever do bring a season 4, I'll probably watch 🙈

I have few major wishes:

1. Ishwari apologizing for all the bad things she did..being a mom is not enough justification for so much jealousy and doing horrible things and separating a couple.

2. Dev taking stand for sona at least once and telling ishwari that she's wrong.

I have many small wishes but i dislike sona the most for all the time putting up with these two..they are so selfish.

Omg maybe it's all the places Dev wanted to take her on their anniversaries, and then Alibaug (har baar foreign jayenge kya?)

I agree so much with this. I kept thinking, why is she saying sorry?! It's one thing to say I love you, it's another thing to say I am sorry. Sorry for what?! Not needed at all. Dev should have apologized to Bijoy in particular.
