We can blame the execution of scenes as always , though fake engagement drama is so cringe and senseless and I think that's the reason all these scenes are looking creepy. @bold....that thing they showed so that she can go to Angad ji and propose him for fake engagement.Else her conscience won't allow for doing any such deal.Their too she said to fake it so that Angad does not get any wrong ideas. Obviously she knows he likes her and she likes him too. That's why she is comfertable enough to ask him for such a help.
