I think saying she's crazy is definitely underestimating how damaging tejo's behaviour and 'all giving love' is for everyone around her. her parents sure are not right but she's only making things worse. this preaching of forgetting is also very toxic honestly. it asks women to consistently trivialise their pain in favour of their abusers- fateli were tejo's abusers. there's no reason to forget or forgive but just move on. which this is not it.

i actually go with the theory she always liked him and tejo just happens to be that girl- gaon mein even abused wives cry when their husband's die and claim love. tejo is a somewhat polished version of them. her love for her abusers is poignant.

Yeah she didn’t even apologize to Angad but went to ask him for help for her need when just in the morning she yelled at him for helping her 🤪

do you all not find it weird that he agreed instead of giving her some baaton se chamat? i really thought he'd break some of her toxic habits of self-harm. but alas.
