As per my understanding of this track:

Aaj tak it has always been Sid who has gone to extreme lengths for her and seeing Karan also do it,she will feel happy that he did fight for her. She is a lonely person at heart toh yeh sab dekh kar usse khushi milti hai.

Jo cheez hamare saath kabhi hui na ho and suddenly someone comes and does it toh accha lagta hai because we havent experienced it before.

As Monu said yesterday,Karan is very protective of cadets and academy and if he feels that kuch wrong ho raha hai and he was the reason behind it then definitely he will take action.

Karan as a character is undergoing change because somewhere Monami is affecting him. She is challenging his beliefs.

For the first time he was open towards her and was willing to allow her in his circle ,jahan entry sirf selected few ko hi hoti hai.
