My mumma usually makes chakli, chiwda,besan laddu ,farsi poori, ghujiya ,sev, sakarpala etc...

But this year we haven't made anything since my grandfather's younger brother i.e. my younger grandfather died due to an accident..

Dal puri ....never had it.....is it puri stuffed with dal? It looks delicious..

yes the chana daal is boiled and then roasted with basic masalas and filled in puris and deep fried. A must for us in Diwalis.. Very close to houligey or pulan poli, but here the stuffing would be more , kachori kinda and salty... A very less heard stuffed puri/paratha/kachori.

Mattar paneer is simple...Makhana kheer is made of lotus seeds..Here they are..They are healthier and low in calories...Very light on stomach.

In general we also make gujia...with coconut and khoya stuffing and suji and khoya stuffing.

This is yomari...made of rice flour and stuffing can be of either khoya or jaggery
