Anu🤗!!! I have to admit that this one is my favorite so far, simply for the fact that Shiva stops Raavi from leaving even when India loses a second wicket just as she sits down.... He was such a cutie pie in this one, really.

AAAH THANK YOU!❤️

Raavi is not a panauti in anyone’s life. She is indeed a good luck charm. I am so glad finally Shiva realized that made her sit to watch the rest of the game.

Keep them coming, their childhood stories but it’s the only way we are going to get them

Thank you so much Prema!! More coming sooooon!

ShiVi in my head are both good luck and bad luck charms for each other 🤣

Twin! This was totally inspired by Sunday morning huh? Loved how he came to that conclusion and asked her to sit with him. Haha as silly as it may sounds but sometimes I do follow these dumb superstitions when it comes to cricket at timea. Like sitting in a certain way, tirning around, etc 😂😂

But lovely indeed!

TWIN YES!

hahaha- cricket superstitions always crack me up!! 🤣

Thank you- glad you liked it!

Anecdote 4

Present day:

Shiva followed Raavi back home from the banquet hall as he realized that Raavi misunderstood him dressing up in formals for Disha instead of Raavi for the couples competition.

He got to the entrance of the room and stopped as he saw Raavi tearing up.

“Raavi..” Shiva called out. Raavi came rushing to the door and shut it on his face.

“Raavi! Raavi, darwaza khol” Shiva said as he knocked, no banged, on the door that Raavi shut.

“Shiva, mujhe koi baat nahi karni hai tujhse, tu jaa yahan se. Koi mere saath rehna nahi chahtha hai. I know” Raavi said as her voice began to break toward the end of the sentence.

“Raavi khol na” Shiva pleaded as he recalled how he had to break the door open on the day of their wedding.

Shiva heard no response from the other side of the door.

“Yeh gadhedi bhi na..” He thought to himself.

“Haan theek hai, math kohl, jo karna ha kar.” Shiva screamed at the door.

Raavi sobbed as she sat by the door.

Shiva sat down by the door too, he thought of Raavi’s tears and the first time she shut the door on his face.

----------------------------------------

Raavi was 6 and Shiva was 7.

It was during a school recess break, Raavi was eating her lunch when she heard a few kids talking about how Raavi was lucky to have a family that took care of her despite being an orphan.

She didn't know what orphan meant, so she walked up to a nine year old Dev who was playing a game of marbles with his brothers. She asked Dev and he calmly explained to her that it was a word used for someone who didn't have parents.

Hurt crept up from Raavi’s heart to her eyes.

Raavi could not hold back her tears, she ran to an empty classroom, climbed on a chair, and locked herself in.

Dev and Krish didnt notice Raavi tearing up, Shiva did. He said to his brothers that he will be right back but he followed Raavi.

He saw her pulling the chair and locking the door.

He went to the door and asked her to open it. He banged on the door several times

Raavi began crying and asked Shiva to leave.

A 7 year old Shiva was stubborn, he said he wouldnt leave till she opened the door.

Raavi told him not to care as no one loved her and that her parents left her. She also said that she had no family.

Shiva didn’t know how to console her. He would tease her all day long but he could not see her crying.

He called her out for her dramatic antics and told her that she was his Maami’s sister’s daughter, of course she had family.

Shiva coined the term Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti that day and it stuck since.

The nickname made a 6 year old Raavi chuckle and she opened the door.

----------------------------------------

Present day:

Shiva thought back to the times Raavi shut herself. The first time was when she realized what the word ‘orphan’ meant, the second was when her wedding with Dev broke off and the third time was now.

“Koi mere saath rehna nahi chahtha hai. I know” Raavi’s words echoed in Shiva’s mind and he realized that she was worried that he would leave her too.

He needed to clear this misunderstanding she had. The thought of him being the reason for her fears hurt him more all of a sudden.

He knocked on the door again, and there wasl no response. After a while, Shiva dozed off outside the room.

An hour later, Raavi opened the door as she wanted to grab some water from the kitchen.

She stepped out and saw Shiva sitting right there by the door.

She thought back to his entrance during the competition and wondered why he changed his attire.

“Jab dekho iss boothnath ko hero banna hai.” Raavi thought to herself.

“School mein bhi.. Shaadi waale din bhi aur aaj bhi…” She wanted to complain about him but she had an epiphany that it was always Shiva who was there by her side when she was the most vulnerable.

“Yeh sach mein, mujhse baat karna chatha hai?” Raavi thought.

She sat by Shiva and nudged him, “Shiva, uth”

Shiva woke up all of a sudden “Raavi tu theek hai? Woh main..” He asked.

“Haan main theek hoon, tu chal andar, bed pe soja, teri peet akadthi hai na”

Shiva got up and as he entered the room, he said, “Raavi main..”

“Shiva hum kal baat karenge” she said, cutting him off as she handed him a change of clothes.

Shiva just looked at Raavi silently.

“Ghoor kya raha hai? Jaa” She said as she pushed him toward the door

Shiva walked out of the room with a slight smile on his face and a feeling of new found hope.

Raavi watched him walk out of the room with a slight smile on her face and a feeling of new found hope.

I loved how you have coined the story behind MKBKB🥳❤

Shiva's support and Raavi's understanding🤍💚

This was awesome❤❤
