This link provides the authentic history of Buxi Jagbandhu. Two things is to notice, he probably had more than two wives and Fletcher ka ghanta kuch nahi bigda. He remained governor of Khurda. Buxi was pardoned but put on house arrest. His property was forever lost to him. Maybe it went to gadadhar or government seized it gave to someone else. Tragic end indeed.😢
