Not necessarily. It's more like a saying. Someone who does good work and people respect him is still said to have that set of people in his pocket. So sonce Raghav had actually been a helping hand to many, it's wierd to think that he has nobody in the police department to help him. Legal or illegal, he is still a personality in the city.
If Pallavi is heart broken, isn't raghav too. His fear of pallavi abandoning him has just come true. Missing to check d house or with krishna does not make him inhuman or stupid.
Raghav's fear of P leaving came true because he chose to stay mum. And it was selfish of him. She's his partner and a thing as big as this was never supposed to be hidden from her. So if R is feeling abandoned right now, it's because of his own cause. And no i am not calling him stupid. I am just calling out things that he should have done if he qas smart enough as he says.
Of course it would have been good if he had checked but I don't think he would ever think to weigh effort vs disappointment. Had it occurred to him he would have checked.
Of course he would have but to think that he didn't is wierd. As i said if someone close to you goes missing, the first place you check is their home and D house is still according to P and R both,her home. Or a place she has high chances of being at.
Anyways it just speculation now whether he had checked or had not checked in with d house & krishna. We can even interpret VDs call to Raghav as a return call to raghav checking in with d house earlier.
It is pretty clear that VD called R after he returned back home to Amma because if the call was made before then R wouldn't have gotten back to RR mansion. Rather we know he's gonna be at D house and even after rejection he's gonna sleep outside. So yes checking D house mattered.
It reminds me of a scene during Mansi's sangeet where Pallavi sets out at night for a saree shop problem without a cell phone or petrol in her bike. She gets into an argument and to one - up raghav takes left from strangers. When the stranger pulls out a gun at pallavi and she is in danger we have Raghav waiting for them blocking their path. Although some people did question as to how he reached the spot where the thugs were abducting pallavi. But it was understood that he followed her thinking of her safety. Not every detail is shown, we have to assume and move on with few details. The smaller details and logistics like if Raghav had checked in with krishna or d house or if he has taken a car with him while searching or had amrutha and pallavi taken a cab while raghav was on foot. Or if Raghav had come back to his house to recharge his phone to call Farhad or to engage few PIs if not police. We cannot know for sure as writers would probably ignore this as they have some 20 episodes approx to close the story and various other story arcs.
By calling out such scenarios of wha the should have done or not, people are just calling out the writers because what R does depends on them. It's not him we're saying something. It's an indirect question to the creators and writer's through talking about his character.
