They used to show Ashwini's pain and her outburst but they stopped after turning Ashwini into a worthless character. We don't see the taunts nor the pain anymore in her. It's a continuity of her character being a showpiece.

I am sure everyone would have loved to see Pulkit fighting his own battle but Sai was fighting his battle. I remember back then we all were calling him nalla and what not. We wondered if he will be able to take care of a mentally ill Devi if he can't even prove his innocence and needs a 19 years old girl's help.

No matter the track, either Virat or Sai will be the hero and heroine. 😆 Also they want to give us as much as SaiRat scenes possible before ruining them again.

I think what TM is trying to say here is, if they can have episodes and episodes dedicated to Saree kyu diya, without hero of the show in picture...episodes and episodes of mindless praise of PL's beauty , with ML in the background...episodes and episodes of toxicity, which truly is not entertainment......they can have some15-20 min dedicated to a woman who has suffered abuse for as long as 30 years however worthless she has been recently...if the track was about that... .

There are many shows which serves a purpose of entertainment, while also incorporate such sequences, where the side characters talk about their pain.

And that's exactly my point too that when did Ghum show anything sensible ? They used to before when Shivani needed help, Ashwini had dialogues, Sai had real issues to fight for instead of bekaar saas bahu drama. Even then it was quite limited.

And about Pakhi's nonsense, it has always been like this. They sometimes give her more importance than the lead.

So questioning about why the main lead is shown having regret, guilt, pain whatever it is, is plain "Let's bash the character because even when he is being nice and positive he should get bashed". 😆

The fact that they are addressing issues in a 30 year old marriage in this manner, is certainly an indication that they are trying to do that....They will also show Shivani's marriage in future... A simple discussion between Aai and Virat where he asks her about it, talks to her about it would be beautiful. Its not that they cant incorporate such things.

i dont think everyone's intention here is to bash Virat. Had it been the case, the character is so flawed that its close to being a negative character. But since the character goes through changes and is the ML, all he has got recently is praise, even after he has committed far bigger mistakes as far as domestic abuse is concerned.

Here the makers and CVs are being questioned and not the character Virat.. For instance someone broughtup why are they making Virat insist on celebrating a marriage anniversary, in the name of copy pasting. They deviated there from KD when ML has been involved in this case.. But then why not also talk about respect his mother should get by his father along with the celebration. The writers are being called out for missing out some pertinent issues. Anniversary celebration is not something sorts out everything that has been done.

However there is nothing wrong in addressing ML's pain, infact it was an added bonus considering the original version and as mentioned by people around Neil was really phenomenal in the last two episodes.

Well if they copy KD in anniversary track, Ninad and Omkar will tell sorry to Ashwini and her pain will be addressed. Virat standing up for mother was a due which the makers added now.

Moreover, Virat is the ML so his problem will be highlighted now. If he's bashed the most cause he's the ML, then his problem must be highlighted the most.

No problem in addressing ml issues. But for that they shouldn't sideline main victim issues

Pulkit is not a victim of abuse like aai.

And sai was helping pulkit & people would have loved had virat too helped aai by taking stand for her when needed not just now that too because of other person initiative.

I agree with what you said about aai character. That's exactly why I posted this. They atleast should show her voice outing her pain instead of showing her as a furniture.

You are again taking my comment in a different way then what I am trying to say.

The topic was about Virat, right ? Why his pain and guilt is shown instead of Ashwini's. And then in comment mentioning that they show Pakhi's bakwaas scenes then why not show Ashwini's pain for 2 min. I would have understood her point if she had written it that way because even I want to see a proper reconciliation. Ninad understanding his mistakes, Ashwini telling what she kept inside for so long. I definitely wanted them to agree for the anniversary celebration by their own not because Virat questioned them that he is their samjhota. Yeah I think I saw a clip like this on twitter.

That's why it comes as Virat's bashing. Why won't they show a son who for 30 years didn't understand his mother's pain finally realizes it because he went through the same. He knows how it feels when you are not loved back. It took him long and that's why they are showing his emotions. You are one of the old members so you know how we all used to bash Virat for not understanding Ashwini or shouting at her. Then we also bashed Ashwini for not loving him like a mother loves her son and probably that's why they aren't close. That's why Virat's emotions are given important here.

Yes Ashwini's emotions should have been shown along with Virat's realization and guilt. I think asking for both would have been a better way to say the Ghum writers are shit.

I am also not bringing the past. I am talking about bashing Virat when he is positive. I think he receives enough bashing when he is wrong and rightly so. He deserves it. When Ninad and Kaku became positive we actually accepted them even though they are criminals. Once they will do something wrong we will bash them again. Just like we do with Virat too... but sometimes we also bash him unnecessary.

Anyways let's just accept that we all would have liked to see Ashwini's feelings and emotions. How it is shown we might not agree with it. 😆
