I don't know whether it had anything to do with manipulation. It could honestly be the other way around. I mean, Katrina's PR was always making these wedding rumors and stuff during her film promotions and it was a little bit too much. How do we know that she didn't pressure him??

If anything, they were not right for each other, and I feel like people don't see that as they ship them too much. Also, what do you expect from a dude that cheated on his ex to be with her? Doesn't sound like Ranbir is the settling type anyway and he comes off as a douche!

And I highly doubt Alia and Katrina are BFFS. If you believe that then you fail to understand that there are no real friends in BW. Katrina is cordial with everyone and is kind of a butt-kisser when it comes to big names and connections.
