I am a Hindu...I have studied in a Convent and we used to go in the Church inside the school....My best friend is a Pakistani Muslim...Her Mom had gone to Haj and she got me Holy water from there.....I had a certification test which is very tough..on the day on the test...I prayed to my Gods....drank a little holy water and wore a cross in my neck.....My husband was like...saare Bhagwano ko makkhan laga rahi hai?? I said yes....who knows which one will come to help me...😆.....jokes apart...BTW I passed....jokes apart.....why does one care if one follows any religion...or multi religions as long as they are not hurting anyone..

Oh I was with the illuminati and the baby eaters. Because I wasn't raised well . All that drinking and drugging from childhood sent me down the wrong path. If only I had somebody to shame my parents at the right time.

Since the reference of Hollywood was given here, Christianity religion is not hailed in America compared to India. They even add curse words while taking the name of Christ. Also, it's a country where even the ex-President Trump wished everyone a Happy Good Friday (a sad day for Christians when Christ was crucified) 🤔

You can deny all you want but america is a christian country and their presidents do take oath under bible. The hollywoodians may or may not believe in christianity but they do wear symbol from their culture openly unlike bollywood celebs who feel ashamed of their roots... however they are proudly wearing or showing cross. They even keep the christian symbols and photos inside their homes.

Somebody said it's cool thing. Fine. Wear it as a status symbol ....no issues. But how cool is it for a dumb rich n young bolly actress keep a photo of jesus in bedroom? It's just a simple pic frame, nothing fancy about it. It's tacky and very lower middle class.

The excuses for ananya makes no sense and so far i havent got a convincing rebuttle from anyone asto how is cross a global symbol and cool thingy whereas OM is not.

Also i dont hnderstand why people get offended if some people thimk ananya is leaning towards christianity or following it? The pic in bedroom means something to her. Its offensive to say he pic of religious figurehead in bedroom is a fashion statement. Obviously it is something that connects on religious or spiritual level for her to place it there in her bedroom.

I didn't misquote you. You said Hollywood embraces it's Christian leanings. And that mainstream American culture is Christian. I was responding to that. Yes the President takes his oath with a Bible in his hand and? I'm sure Ananya Pandey will have to hold a Gita if she's being sworn in as the PM of India. Or whatever religious text she chooses to hold.

I 'm not offended that you accuse her of being Christian. I m amused that you're so worked up about that pic in her room. You see that as a sign of Hindi film stars letting Indian culture down. Goldie Hawn practised Hinduism. Was she dissing her American roots? Ananya Pandey and can practise Christianity without changing her name or without being burdened with the job of representing Indian culture.

The cross is more of a cultural symbol than OM because Western imperialism has exposed much of the world to Christianity and it's relics. There are plenty of literary and cultural works and references tied to it. That doesn't actually make one 'cooler' than the other but maybe some people take it that way. The same way they think denim is cooler than khadi.

In his defense I'm pretty sure he didn't know what Good Friday was. He probably thinks Jesus was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald .

Christians are in the majority in the US and so far all Presidents have been Christian which is why they use the Bible. But according to the law, they can use any book that they wish. Congress members have used the Koran and the Gita as well. They are allowed to use whichever book they want.
